If you have access to computer check out their website main page. Mail is handed out twice weekly. To schedule appt to visit they take calls mondays only between 8am and 10am I believe. Start calling them about 7:59am. Its 1st come 1st served so to speak. Also they ONLY take POSTAL MONEY ORDERS. Dont get one anywhere else. Its all very expensive. Bar of soap is like 5 bucks. Raimen Noodle is 1 buck per pkg. A fast food size packet of salt or peper is .15 cents each. 3 oz bag of coffee is 6 bucks. A envelope ies 50 cents. A single battery fir a radio is 10 bucks. Phone cards are 20. or 25 bucks. to make 4 or 5 calls to a cell phone. Calls to landline is more expensive. He MUST havea towel for 10 bucks and shoes are 10 bucks and shampoo is 6 bucks and socks are 4 or 5 bucks a pair and toothpast is 3 to 5 bucks. Its we the families that have to pay and suffer this highway robbery. Oh you can only put money on his books on MONDAY BEFORE 4pm. Hope this helps and good luck.

CS. does not mean community service. If the person has an illness or medical disorder they are classified as CS/medical. GP means general population. If he doesnt have money there on monday he will not get canteen until tuesday of the following week.

You are both wrong. CS means county sentenced which means they are an sentenced inmate. It has nothing to do with canteen or whether or not they have a mental illness or medical disorder.

It's not really robbery, and most of the stuff is non-essential. It's we the tax payers that have to pay quite a bit more.

If you really want to know then call th@e jail. They will answer all of your questions. Trust me, they are use to it. @interesting yes tax payers are paying for the bare necesities but they really do need more than that. Some of these people arent hard core criminals like others. Some of these people are good people that werent able to pay a fine because they arent as well off as others and believe it or not soetimes innocent people really do get put in jail. These people do not deserve to have to live like animals. Its cold in jail so i think socks and tshirts should be given but they arent. You have to pay rediculous prices just to get one pair. And they do need shampoo and deoderant and toothpaste. How would you feel if you didnt have those very basic things
