What is right about our government, pharmacies, and doctors getting our family and friends hooked on drugs, profiting thousands, hundreds of thousands and millions off of it, then throwing them in prison for possessing it?

NOTHING!!

If you are tired of our sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters being imprisoned for Non Violent Drug Crimes, there is only one solution

Vote Ron Paul 2012

As president he would pardon all non violent drug offenders and end this unholy, unconstitutional, immoral war on drugs that costs us so much in so many ways.

Peace

I guess the mother/daughter team hooked up with the father/son team (Chiltons) will have to be coming up with bail money. What a shame with kids involved.

How 'bout we all take responsibility for ourselves and just NOT take all the drugs that are offered to us? Just because a doctor writes a prescription doesn't mean YOU, the patient, are obligated to fill it & gobble down the pills. Intelligent human beings do their homework & read up about a medication, assessing it's risks before taking it. Responsible people know the difference between NEEDS & WANTS. If you don't know the difference, let me break it down for you: People with legitimate, intolerable pain/sickness NEED medication. Whiners with bullsh*t aches/pains & self-inflicted miseries stemming from bad life choices WANT medication to escape the hell they've created for themselves. The only entity that can get you hooked on drugs is YOU!!!

i ask you..would you like your pilot of a 747 to smoke a big joint, then fly over a major city? IT IMPEARS YOUR JUDGEMENT...thats why it is against the law.

One of those people on the list means a lot to me. They were in the wrong place at the wrong time. So get your fuckiñg facts straight before you judge.

He also has always been a very dear friend to me! So this does suck and he is not into this for trafficking so I cant understand why they are holding him on such a effin bond for drugs they found near him on a possesion charge!ludacris...

People are known by the company they keep. If your loved one is truly innocent, then he/she will have their day in court and it will all work out. Afterwards, they might want to be more careful when choosing friends to hang with. As the old saying goes, if you lie with dogs, you WILL get fleas.

I agree as well... he's a great guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time and to have his name blasted w/ a list of ppl pushing pills and coke is just wrong... they could at least have the decency to say that he was not originally indicted or investigated!!!

Those that have a vested interest in this are either worried for their own welfare or someone they know. If your conscious is clear, you'd carry on with life instead of checking news sites, jail sites, and this rag all day.
Why do the same two losers from Texas and Michigan chime in on every thread with an ever-changing opinion as if they weren't the same person? lol
Why does the number of supposed indictments keep changing? I saw 146 on another thread. They aren't going to publicize how many. They don't want to spook people and they don't want the public to know how many they failed to get. Gossips always want others to believe they are some repository of secret information and you can only get this 'secret' information if you are nice to them. Its a ploy to get friends utilized by losers.

wow. i've never read any of these threads. heard of em. probably been mentioned (i'll have to check;), and certainly never posted. so... here goes. i was trying to check the state journal to learn what i might about the drug bust i heard about through the grapevine. kept coming up unavailable. i'm a recovering addict, so i have to avoid certain triggers including people i've known for years. that's not too hard anymore, i was just curious to see what went down. what bothers me more than the busts and social concerns that drug addiction/trafficking has caused is the unbelievable lack of compassion for these people. of course we all make our own beds, own decisions, own mistakes. no self-respecting human would disagree. but these things will only get better with education, and i don't just mean those on the indictment list, i mean all of us. seriously people, if there's never been anyone in your life that made a poor decision or thirty, then you are truly a blessed being. try helping by understanding. we can all end up on high horses by making a series of good decisions, but just like the prescriptions we don't have to take, we don't have to sit on a high horse, much less point fingers and laugh or berate someone who has fallen lower than ourselves. just a thought i guess. no offense intended, just want people to try understanding each other and just maybe we could actually help each other. and i'm not a hippy:)
Agreed

Couldn't have said it any better Fred. Instead of condeming these people we should be praying for them & their families. Maybe this bust will be what it takes to help them clean up, get help & move on with their lives. Everyone makes bad decisions at one point or another, all you can do is hope & pray for the best outcome possible. I'm by NO means saying they shouldn't be incarcerated, I just think some posts are a little harsh. People can change it just takes hard work & determination. May God be with these lost souls & their families during this awful time in their lives.
