I ate at the one in louisville, its terrible. Its not real BBQ, they dont smoke there food. It was by far the most disappointing place I have ever eaten at. They wont be getting anymore of my money for sure. If you want good BBQ, go to Marks feed store in louisville, a lot better food and not near as expensive.

I ate at the Louisville location and I was not impressed at all. But there are people who think it's the best place to eat. Some people don't care about quality I guess.

I Am employed at staxx,And i wanted to say a few things..I Am an hourly employee there,i have tasted the smoked meat And it was very tender,juicy and mouthwatering.I have worked in resturants for 27 yrs And im very impressed by the quality and love that is put into it. I Am looking forward to being a part to there team.You would be suprised the many places i have worked in frankfort,that people dont realize the lack of quality in these places,they dont use fresh quality ingredients,they dont make things from scratch,they also cut many corners.WE have needed a bbq place like the bigger cities have expierenced,good down home,down to earth good cooking with people who care about the product they make.THis town has needed this place so i think you should give a fair chance before you pass judgement.I Am a very passionate person,food has been my passion since i was 10 yrs old.I put every bit to my heart And soul into everything i do including my job i give 200%,and nothing less,so when we open up to the public you can then form An opinion.see u there.

Not had their ribs, chicken is pretty good. I know one thing, I love that place... but their brisket seriously sucks some big ones! Reminds me of something that you would get from a frozen dinner with too much liquid smoke.

Ok, so your saying that you guys are going to have a smoker. Because the one in louisville doesnt have one, and like the other poster said you can taste the liquid smoke, I also had the brisket and the ribs, and the brisket was awful and the ribs came out looking like a square block, they were dry, they were not even close to fresh, something that came out of a freezer box in the back and of course they were saturated with liquid smoke as well. Now as you know, ribs should almost fall off the bone and be tender and juicy, NOT TOUGH AND DRY. Seriously, I know its your job, but the food is the absolute worse BBQ I have ever had. So whatever you had that was so mouthwatering either you really dont know food as well as you say you do or you guys were making something that you dont serve the general public. So do you have a real smoker or not? cause if you dont then how did you have some smoked meat? Oh and its obvious when a place has a smoker and the one in louisville does not.

I've had the brisket a few times, I think it depends on who prepares it. Didn't care for it the one time but it was better other times. Their ribs are good and their steaks are excellent!

There is a very big smoker,stop by And smell for yourself. That is the problem with you people,everyone gripes And judges things before you even give it a fair chance.and u can take what you want with a grain ofsalt.Every resturant And employees are different.I actually care about people i serve in this community.my name is sam And just about anyone can tell you how i work.

Cattlemans brisket does suck it made me not go back for anything else.Staxx has 2 portable smokers sitting on the lot and a building out back that looks like it could be a smoker.I am looking forward to see if i can learn anything.
