Pawn shop honey. I got my first from my dad (goofy little 22) but most pawn places will sell really cheap.

I support concealed carry as long as it is for self protection. In several occasions the ccw carrier has tried to get involved in police action. If a ccw owner gets involved in a police situation and ends getting shot by the police it's his fault.

Conceal the damn thing. People who open carry come across as show-off rednecks.
All you are doing is making the good folks nervous for no reason, and letting the bad guys know who to shoot first. They will probably slip up behind you and stick a gun in your ribs and take it away from you, and maybe shoot you with your own gun.
Nobody should know you have it until the moment you need to use it. Who the hell are you trying to impress, anyway ?

I think every one should have a shotgun in their home. I do not know about carry though. I am waiting for the add for CCW permit classes on this post.
Of course there would be a lot less crime if criminals had to wonder who has a gun with them

Steve is correct. Conceal it til you need it, don't become the first target. I'm wondering if Dirty White Boy is that dumbass that works at Kats and sits out front smoking with his "piece strapped to his side" anytime he doesn't have a customer in the store. Sorry, but I just laugh at that guy thinking the whole time...... If I was a criminal and wanted to rob this place I would know EXACTLY what I was facing.... Instead of being surprised by a bullet to center mass.

Open carry Is just stupid. You will get unwanted attention and to educated gun owners like myself, we feel you make us look bad. Cincceal your damn gun. Nobody thinks you're a badass because you have one. If some stuff dies go down, you will be the first target. I prefer the element if suprise.
Thats your opinion and your welcome to it. However you are not in charge of everyones personal business. And you could learn to spell makes your arguement look better.

I carry my gun every where and i think that everyone needs to have the option to do so. And to stupid you care a car key around every day and u are more likely to die from a car accident then from cross fire from someone carrying a gun.

A concealed gun on a responsible person puts no one in any danger whatsoever, and it might just save your life or that of your family. You should take a CCW class and see what its all about.
Frankfort is not Mayberry any more - there are robberies, home invasions, carjackings and drug head shootouts on a pretty much regular basis anymore. Detroit and Memphis drug rings, crack cocaine all over the place, and heroin starting up. Unless you live downtown, the cops are probably a half hour out and will only be good for taking a report.
I don't ever want to pull my gun and odds are I never will, but with today's drug culture, better safe than sorry. And unless you plan on committing some violent felonies, you are in no danger at all from responsible CCW holders.
