It's been happening, just keeps getting swept under the rug. Well, only for certain people. I'm sure it's not hard to figure who these people are.
If it were anyone else they would be in jail! And have their nursing license revoked

Well, they may think they are safe now but in a matter of time it will catch up with them. It is sad though that this goes on and nobody will do anything because of who they are and who they are related to. Can't believe FRMC would allow this!! And to think someone needing and prescribed this med for pain is not getting it, so sad...

Exactly! And it makes other professionals look bad that work in healthcare.
Another nurse was fired on the spot not too long ago for taking one pill (non narcotic) out of the med cart without an order. So, if I were her I would sue this biased facility.
<quoted text>I heard it was Megan Wooldrige (Gabbard). And Jenny Hedges Cummins. Both of their moms work there. Megan's mom is ER nurse manager. That's just what I heard. Not sure what is and isn't true
Correct. But since They are trying to keep everything so "hush hush", I guarantee that this whole topic will
Be deleted my morning. Mark my word! If they would just own it and face it, like any other would have to....people wouldn't be as angry and bitter

In this day & time, they quit teaching spelling in the 4th grade. With texting now popular, the younger generation doesn't have a chance!

And why can't you learn how to punctuate? Your second sentence should end in a question mark.

No it shouldn't dumbass, because I wasn't asking, I was exclaiming! Learn before you try to teach!

You don't "exclaim" with the word "why." If you wanted to "exclaim," you should have said "You people can't spell!" The word "why"--surprise, surprise--asks a question.

Just accept the fact that you screwed up and learn from it.

Dear school teacher, do you steal and abuse drugs too? Quit trying to avoid the subject at hand. I'm sure you are a part of the drug club too. You really want to pick on punctuation!!! I hope your mother isn't the one in need of pain medication and you are having to worry that an incompetent nurse will steal it. Pick your battles asshole

Dear "curious", read the thread a little more closely, and you'll see that I'm not the one that brought up the topic of proper spelling or punctuation.

And you're afraid that because your Topix thread got hijacked (as they all do), your mom's medication is going to get stolen? Are you also on pain meds? If so, I'd advise lowering the dosage.

Dear "you asked for it", I have read the thread very closely. Are you married to an asshole cop that will sweep your addiction under the rug? Or, are you also a family member of a manager at FRMC? Oh, I bet you have some sort of connection or you wouldn't give a shit!
As far as my "mother's medication" goes, I was using a scenario. Do you know what that is? Maybe you should look it up? And no, I do not take pain medications because your friend/family member stole and took them all. I value my medical license too much!!!!!

If you would learn to express yourself more clearly, we wouldn't be having these communication issues.

I can't believe the hospital would allow them to continue to work there. That place is a joke. I would be embarrassed to work with coworkers who give my job a bad name.

They both have been admitted to the KARE program...I wish them the best! They worked hard for those licenses and hopefully they can get through this.

I don't think they should EVER be able to give pain medicine again!! It doesn't set a good example for the other employees. To know that one of the RNs was shooting up in the parking lot is CRAZY! The other was stealing pts pain medicine from pts. I don't believe that any nurse would be able to keep there job but they do at FRMC!
