I don't think that we have considered the cost. The NRA has suggested that we put an armed police officer in every school in America and that is Ludacris and their leader is as idiot. Concealed Carry is offering free concealed permit to school teachers. I am curious if they are going to offer free training to the teachers as to what to do in a tactical situation. Are the teachers going to be required to undergo semester training? As a parent I don't want a teacher that have fired 20 rounds at a paper target in my sons classroom with a gun. I don't have an answer for school violence, hopefully after Tuesday and the Vice President maker suggestions to the President both sides use commonsense to come to a mutually agreed decision. I am not anti gun, as a matter of fact I own over 20 of them.

If u waiting on the president, don't hold ur breath. He only wants to stop lawful gun owners. U think any homicidal/ suicidal person cares about any laws? The only way to truly protect students is for a TRAINED person with a gun. An officer or former officer would be most ideal. Anything else is feel good politics.

Maybe the NRA will volunteer to fund some of the cost for properly training school personnel.

Trained people in our schools?
Why do we need this? Why do we need to take away more rights from the people and make this even more of a police state?
Why not have scanners coming in to the school? How is it they can keep the president safe from snipers over a mile away wherever he goes, but they can't keep the kids safe when they are in one building?
Hmm.
Sounds like laziness and money not being spent in the right place.
Sounds like the government wants to the sheep to submit some more to their whims so they can inch closer to total domination.
Repeal the patriot act.
Stop anyone that tries to take your guns by any means necessary.
Impeach the oligarchs.

~A democrat against gun control. Sure we need to reduce the population, but forced civil war isn't the way to do it. While we kill each other, the oligarchy will be hiding in their billion dollar bunker under the Denver Airport. We need a coup of the righteous. Any military officers care to weigh in, here? Need you on our side.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people, guns, knives, bats, bombs whatever. We need to come up with a safe way to insure children are protected while at school. We use scanners at airports etc.lets look at different ideas how to protect children.Yes mental health plays a role also.Surely with all the tech. we have we can come up with a great idea everyone can agree on. The loss of one child is not acceptable.

the white house can cut enough fat to pay for it. they dont mind housing death row inmates for life , our children are worth more than them.
