Can't believe they busted up someone's casket and then tried to cover it up and lie to the family. Even dumped the poor woman out of the casket before burying her. Who did this and why did the other employees go aking with the ploy to cover it up?

Not worth the argument. The body is a vessel, that rots away after the soul is out. She is underground now and mistakes happen, suppose what you said is true in the first place

Your right, the body is a vessel and she is burried now. However she was someone's mother and she was entrusted to the workers of the cemetery to be peacefully buried and that didn't happen. Trying to cover up and lie about their mistake is the problem. I am interested in knowing how the family found out what they had done to this woman.

Probably the same way we found out they buried our daddy in the wrong grave and he had to be dug up again and put in the right grave. No place to bury your love ones.

I am interested in that too! The news does not mention that. Wonder why it was not in paper today?

I have heard of workers at that cemetery staying high all the time on marijuana and pills. No wonder there are so many mess ups that occur at that cemetery. The workers need to be drug tested.

Kevin doesn't run the place but yes he does work there and was involved. And I would bet a month of paychecks that he was high. Its a shame something like this happened but they need to get those boys reined in before they ruin the name out there. If kevin's brother in law wasn't in local law enforcement, he would be behind bars where he belongs already.

I went to Sunset Gardens to make arrangements to have a loved one buried. I had a grave that was already paid for; the rude and unprofessional manner in which my family was treated was brutal an will never be forgotten. It was heartbreaking to have to make arrangements for a loved one that died suddenly, but my family will never be at peace with the way we were treated. We left in tears and furious and proceeded to switch our plans for burial to Frankfort Cemetery. I tell this story to anyone I can, in hopes of saving others from being treated so horrible at a time when they are sad and vulnerable. DO NOT take your loved family members to Sunset...they deserve to rest in peace... and apparently this is not a priority to the Sunset Managment and Staff.

It takes a lot to exume a body, so how did they know there was a problem? Did someone involved report it happened? I can only imagine how many other problems have occurred. Just thinking of this lady's necklace laying in the bottom of the vault still shocks me!

Well it is pretty obvious that this is a worker trying to get the company in trouble when actually it is the worker that dropped the individual so the workers should get it trouble not the company.

The company is just as guilty because they lied to the family about what happened. Sunset doesn't care about people, only the almighty dollar.

In the paper, it sd the family was called for notification that the casket was scratched. Upon further inspection, the family found it was more than that. If they were going to say it was a scratch, why wouldn't they go on and say wjat really happened? And if the body was already set to be buried, why say anything at all?

Why do they not drug test the people that run the heavy equipmeent to do the burials? Why didn't they immediately test the crew when this happened? The maintenance brew may not have reported the accident exactly the way it happened. Then again, maybe they did but already had their money so they didn't see it as a big issue. Bet they thought a free grave space to the family would make everything better.

so by your reckoning you should be able to treat a dead body as if it is only a shell and that necrophiliacs aren't really doing anything wrong when they abuse a corpse because the soul has departed. Hell why poor out some beer for your dead homies, according to you, you can literally pour it on them before they're laid to rest.
as you say mistakes happen, your clueless post proves it

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aries

Someone is being very informative and helpful, especially if you want them to explain something that you don't understand, so listen carefully to what they tell you. This is also a great day for making some travel plans, perhaps by arranging to visit a friend you haven't seen in a while or by discussing where you should take your next holiday.
