Farming is good, "hidden location". You know, that argument is getting old.
I know tons about IT. Live it in my machinery, with my data up-links and down-links for plotting my fertilizer applications, moisture content analysis for harvest for historical charting, and other things that you may or may not know about.
Then taking all that info that my machinery and application companies that I use, compile it into usable data utilizing Open office applications because it is "open sourced" and can be modified as necessary to achieve my end goals of a simplistic, readable, and recordable document that I can save on my solid state hard drive.
So yes, I know a bit about the IT world. But I am sure you'll come at me with something else.

Comment no worse than yours. I just choose different analogizes.
You don't know enough, otherwise you wouldn't be saying half the things you do.
The elected people gave farmers tools to help grow their farms so we could better feed and serve the world. If the govt offers it, then who am I not to partake of it.
Do you take tax deductions and write offs for your business? You don't think that's taking a "hand out"? But I am sure you'll spin that into saying it's different. But I am ok with that. That is just how you are.
And again with the free market thing??? Won't even waste my time going there yet again.
There has been and will continue to be a need for farmers until people destroy the world, or if you hang your hat on being some sort of deity worshiper, some good guy comes back to get you. Either way, we both are screwed, right?
Yay, you know how to use Calc (the open office version of Excel), maybe Base (open office version of Access). Very impressive, my 9-year old can do the same.

Yes, I also take tax deductions and write off for my business. Don't you? However the government does not give me CASH payments on a regular basis or manipulate the market in a way that ensures the products I produce sell at a minimum price point. Your powerful farm lobby in Congress ensures that you can continue to suck on the government teat at my and other taxpayers expense.

Wow...

I offered an explanation elsewhere about the Govt.

Something like: "if you're not an illegal, and you pay taxes..."

I am a legal citizen of the US. I hold an Indiana Drivers License. I have a valid social security number.

If "hispanics" are legal citizens or can provide actual documentation that they are in process, pay taxes like other citizens do, have a valid social security number SPECIFICALLY FOR THEM and not one "borrowed" from someone else, then yes, you are entitled.

This is the view that most Americans believe.

But for someone to come in and skirt the system by illegal means is unacceptable.

That is why none of the hispanics who have ever applied for a job has ever worked for me. They want cash, no 1099, refuse to offer a verifiable form of ID, and often times don't speak english fluently.

I refuse to learn a new language for the sake of enabling others (read minority" to not conform to centuries of tradition.

I bet even Punjab would agree with me on this.

Yes, I do agree. English may not be the official language of the USA but it is the language of success.

However if a white person applied for a job working for you and wanted to be paid in cash would you comply?

No I would not. No discrimination here. No proper credentials, no employment.

Even our summer help bailing crew gets checks and 1099's.

Actually can't believe you had to ask that question. I bet everyone else on here already knew the answer based on my hardened stance on various things.

You'll have that, I guess.
