Indy's Mayor looks like he might have a role in their situation too.

I recall Mr. Mcbarnes saying that Ballard was his mentor. I wonder what he will claim when the economic boys get their hands caught in that land acquisition profitable cookie jar.

The mayor won't be the only fall guy. For Frankfort it will pull down the republican administration, Stan Smith and his econ Buddy's, the chamber, and so forth.

what a glorious day that will be too. They have done far to much unrepairable damage financially and to Frankforts reputation.

there are several entities that need and hopefully will be brought down. it has been a long time coming and it needs to happen soon as Frankfort's future depends on it. Bring it on!!

It's looking like a few more people are getting wise to these antics.

Skip Evans should up the anty and look at everyone's books who take money from the county. Of course that will upset the city boys that he has sworn his allegiance to, but it's damn time these self centered agencies get the open book treatment.

What's unfortunate is that Frankfort will lose great historical buildings and its overall reputation will be tarnished for years.

Ha! I don't think it's tarnished, in fact it will only improve thanks to more hispanics.

You keep telling yourself that, because you are the only one to believe it.

Just take a closer look at the land sales around the airport. And the people in the back ground shadows of the airport. The land was sold and then resold & then sold again in a little inner circle of local business men. Good Enough for Frankfort.

Maybe these two properties are the only ones left in frankfort that are not tied up in tax issues, just saying.

That's probably more true than people realize.

Has anyone looked at John Reid's Facebook page? He has a picture of what might someday become the canal walk thingy. And he compliments the administration for their efforts.

Sounds like to me he sold out. Makes a lot of sense now that the signs weren't up on the 15th of May or whenever we had the "visit".

Be interesting to hear his "spin" on all of this. I hope it's not the "I didn't know it, but if you call me I will get you some signs", or " People don't realize I have spent a 1000 dollars out of my own pocket" bullshit.

If you were, notice I said WERE, as passionate as your profess yourself to be, then you and I both know that you would have followed thru.

It's sad folks... simply sad.

Frankfort's reputation is already in the crapper thanks to thirty years of corrupt governance. Going to lose great historical buildings?? they are already gone!! the Clinton and Roxy Theaters, the Frankfort life building, most likely the Masonic temple will be next. Most all because of greed and corrupt interest of the few.
