Once again my posts and comment concerning Kassie Laflen's drunk driving charge has been removed!
I can only say that the more times it get removed the more I will write about it.
I am not stating anything that is not already public knowledge.
She or someone close to her must really have something to hide.
I find it deplorable that someone can drive a car and leave the scene of a crime and only get a driving while impaired charge.
What makes me wonder is why she is the only one that had a cell phone? In this day and age what happened to her husbands phone>
Why did they wait to call for help
Why where they out where they were in the first place. Miles from their home...miles from where Ken was staying?

Why was Ken out partying it up when he told you he was going to bed?

He didn't tell me he was going to bed...He said would probably just stay in....He obviously changed his mind....He was going to be with some old family friends....people he knew his whole life.

It is possible to have a trusting marriage and not tell each other each every little thing. Perhaps he was feeling blue and decided to go out and have a few drinks.
Shame on you for continue to place blame on someone they intentionally left to die in the middle of a country road!

That's ok Civil Suit will remind them every day of their lives. Justice will be served one way or another.

To his widow. Don't let this stupid poster obviously either her or a BFF bashing your husband on here.

Go after them in a Civil Suit!! Remind them everyday of their lives when their wages are being garnished what they did.

File a civil suit since it seems the justice system may have failed. Nobody really knows the whole story- other than the people who were there that night. However, if an injustice has been done, don't give up and continue to pursue whatever avenues you can to make this equitable. I am sorry for your loss.

then after you file the civil suit then go after the county for doing a shit ass job on investigating this murder start from the sherifff down to the prosecutors office to the coroner maybe they will stop messing up all those cases that they get calls for this day and age they should have all the answers right in front of them.

I would like to say THANK YOU to all who have defended my husband. He really was a loving and caring guy.
While none of us are perfect, he would not go out and beat someone and leave them dead or dying in the road as these two did.
I may never really know what happened that night....But I will go to my grave knowing that he was a faithful husband to me, and that he loved me with everything he had.
I wonder if she can say that about her husband?
People can say what they will....but I know that they killed him.
I guess for some it is easier to lay the blame on the person that can not defend themselves. What a cowardly thing to do. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Well, either you are lying now, or you were lying when you talked to the news then. I dont know anyone who would be out partying (drunk enough to get cut off at two different bars) until 2 in the morning the day of his mother's funeral.

Everyone deals with sorrow in their own way. You know whoever you are seem really defensive toward the victim even though his life was taken from him.

Perhaps this goes to show they truly are not remorseful for their actions. Thank-you for validating that on this forum.

1 more criminal trial to go. 2 civil trials to go. Justice will be served.

Why wouldn't you be out drinking? Anything to drown the sorrows. Everyone will deal with stress and loss differently. A person doesn't deserve to die because they became intoxicated. I would never pass judgment on how someone should act during a grief process.

I figured either Kassie or her family knew the law enforcement to get off that light for such a serious crime. Sorry to say that's how Clinton county works these days!

You know very little about law enforcement or you would know that it is the prosecutor and the judge/jury responsible for which charges to file and sentencing. But it is so much easier to blame law enforcement for the stupid actions of losers.

True but if the crime isn't investigated properly there is no evidence to take to the court system. Just saying

I am absolutely disgusted with the comments blaming this murdered man...it doesn't matter if he changed his mind and decided to go drink,it doesn't make murder justified "if" he actually just "groped" this girl,it doesn't justify murder if he had too much to drink and was supposedly cut off at the bar/bars....nothing I've seen or heard about this case so far justifies this man being beaten to death so badly it was a closed casket, left in the middle of a dark country road dead or dying,,,,,,I really hope justice is served.
