Any of you see the interview the owner of Everything Okay gave on the news, about accepting spoiled food from her suppliers? It really bothered me when she said, "seriously people make mistakes". She also stated this wasn't the first time she recieved spoiled food from this supplier. If she has had this problem before, why would she order from there again? My family & I won't be eating there anymore, if this is how she feels about customers.

That story just might be the end of that place. Guess I really didn`t even know it was still open. She did seem to take things lightly. I woud hope the board of health would make a surprise visit. What type of place would EVEN think about accepting food in that shape?

What do you expect? We are talking Chinese here. Look at what they do in their own country. No regulations at all. That also goes for the Mexican food places. Same thing. No regulations and therefore they think they can do the same here. Yes we have laws that are suppose to protect the consumer from this sort of thing but how many times does it happen without us knowing about it? Good job on the part of the police officer who caught them. But how many of these food trucks have slipped by and delivered the spoiled product?

I like Everything O.K. but this does make me think about eating there in the future.

What about the Health Board? Are they inspecting these places? Do all restaurants in Frankfort have a Board of Health certificate. I doubt that they do.

It must be nice to have lived your life mistake-free.

They threw the food away after inspecting it. What more do you want?

Personally I respect the owners of Everything OK. WLFI came into their establishment with the intent of making some kind of hit piece in order to make the business look bad. They will continue to get my business.

First, it's sad that reporters are allowed to twist words and ruin someones reputation. That reporter should be ashamed of himself. I personally know the owner and here is the truth:

Yes, she did receive some products from the company who owned the truck...it was mostly non-perishable can goods. She got one box of frozen chicken that was STILL frozen when she got it (she did however dispose of it when she found out what happened.) Secondly, she did NOT know that the company she ordered from was in trouble in the past. The company name they use now is not the name of the company the reporter used in the story.

The reporter was at the restaurant for 45 minutes (there are witnesses to this) and yet used about 20 seconds of the interview (which he took out of context).

They have been in town for nearly 20 years and in all that time, they have never had a critical citation (you can check with the health department to verify this is true.) As a matter of fact, the inspector had been there just a few days before. They have not been serving people bad food. My family has been eating there since they opened and we will continue to do so.

Please don't punish this hard working family for a poorly done story. This reporter has been trying for a year to bring the truck company business down, and unfortunately, Everything OK got run over in the process.

The BOH was there prior to the incident and came again that day and they got a clean "bill of health". The food was still frozen when they got it (one box of chicken - they threw away) everything else was non-perishable.

Comedians is what we have here folks. I've seen this and I've seen that but not one mention of a phone call to the Board of Health (our office by the way) or any mention of communication to the owners.

It's not my job to call you or argue with owners, I am just saying I refuse to eat in these places ?? Do your Job and this conversation will be over !! Lazy Bastards.
So you don't want to protect people like me who eat at these places? You think calling the BoH is doing their job?

I doubt they can't be at every place during every hour that they are open. They go in a few times a year and if the place is clean, then they move on.

If people like you think that ignoring an unclean situation is how one deals with an eatery, you need to re-evalute your place in society. Everyone should be concerned and want to call the proper authorities to protect the rest of us.

You're a sad individual...

As far as what you eat, I could not care. So go fill up on it. And as far as a Sad Individual, I beg to differ. If you knew me,you would see, I'm the happiest person you will ever meet, outstanding in every way :)
I guess if all you care about is you, then good luck. I feel sorry for all the people you use.

A lot of talk going around frankfort about the HOT trucks delivering unsafe food to frankfort. Everyone has an opinion about EVERYTHING OK being involved. If you want to know what pride an owner takes in their restaurant, look at the pride they take in their home. I drive by the owners home at least once a week. Maybe a $500,000.00 home not more than 10 years old or so. Weeds 3 to 4 feet high everywhere. Never mowed. Check it out. 180 East. Won't even say which house. Not hard to spot.

Seen it. A couple of months ago I stopped at a nearby house to ask if the abandoned house down the road was for sale. Surprised to find out that it was occupied by the Everything OK people. Hard to believe people live that way.
