Why don't you imbeciles get a copy of the insurance health plan instead of reading the crappy paper, topix, or listening to some bullsh!t at McDonalds.
County Commissioners meetings are nothing but a circle jerk.

You old fool. Where do you think the Times GOT their info. From the county, including the email in which Byrd was cursing at people on the committee out of fear that he wouldn't get the account.
The premium went up badly enough for employees ONLY, those who have the family coverage are gonna crap their drawers when they see how much THAT premium went up. While the co-pays may sound nice and have some people fooled into thinking it's a good policy, the premium and out of pocket is going to be a killer for families who are just getting by. They have no idea yet. Except those who have crunched the numbers on both this policy and the policy that was offered by the previous company.

Glad to see you admit this plan sucks... I spelled out the old plan and believe me, its better. Yes companies will have to provide insurance if they have 50 or more employees. It may not be great coverage but they will provide it. Its all getting bad but hey, didn't we expect it?

Richelle, as someone who has no dog in this fight except as a taxpayer, I would think that you would be concerned that the county was offered another policy for a price tag of 100,000.00 less and didn't take it. You personally don't have to worry about how the medical claims will be paid, so why do the commissioners have you in their back pockets?

Why are the commissioners quiet on the topic of county insurance, the newspaper asks?
Could it be that Weaver is still trying to help his pals hit pay dirt by slipping the United Heathcare plan in on county employees?

$15,400 sounds like a lot to pay for health unless it's a family plan. that is one big raise that he won't have to pay taxes on.

All the claims about the county health insurance being over budget ect.,Now the final figures were presented at the commissiners meeting and then council meeting , and it was under budget!!!$ 109,000. Then Council takes back$ 100,000 . and puts it back into general budget for the county!!! Seems like someone might have missed spoken earlier!

You are right I misspoke it was 100k not 1 mil under. And you are right about the council putting it back in the budget but, then what did the council do against the commissioners asking? They gave another 150,000 to IVY Tech. Lotta good that savings did. BTW Emo that lawyer doesn't get money he gets insurance the same family plan that the County Council gets and they work like what 1 day a month. Maybe a little more but don't see how since Shoemaker is a Cop, Swat , Detective. Hensley is in Florida. Woods owns a grocery store to keep them all busy ?

When will you be filling out the paperwork for a county position? You purportedly know everything and have all the answers.
