As you stated in your previous post,
I thought he along with every other red blooded American had a Constitutional Right of being innocent until PROVEN guilty in a Court of Law? But heck, what fun is that for all of us here on the Forum?
You are right, Guilt until proven innocent.(In a court of law)
You seem to have forgotten one other “Constitutional Right “ called,“The First Amendment” Where people are free to express their opinions according to their perception.
Oh no, trust me I totally understand the liberty to speak and otherwise express one's opinion which makes things like Internet forums so entertaining for us. These however are just opinions and opinions are like A-holes, WE ALL HAVE ONE!!!

Well I say he's guilty, guilty, guilty. The man was an awesome giver to his community but he had a major gambling problem that led him to steal. He needs help not jail! Yes he should be sentenced to repay his debt and put on probation but he should also be required to seek help for his addiction. We all have flaws and addictions, some worse than others so let's not judge him and let the courts determine how he is sentenced.
You couldn't be more right,

Please Mr. Emery, get some help! this will not be held against you by reasonable people and maybe you can continue to help your committee through your experience. Accountability and Forgiveness is bliss

Was it the Lt. job to oversee his police force? Maybe his actions or being addicted to gambling is the reason the force has ran amuck with lawsuits and bad behavior. kept the spotlight off him and since he was absorbed in this addiction he was not monitoring what was going on properly at his duty.
That time spent gambling, could have spent putting just as much into his job maybe the FPD would not have the reputation it currently has.
