Rob Balcezac is a superior leader and he was left with a mess to clean, including the employees posting on here. This man has a new system coming into place to collect bills, outside agency.
Keep up the hard work and and try to educate some of the misfits that work for you. If you can't help these cancers, the get rid of them. Make this community proud but stay out of the Fire Department, works well where you are. Good job...
Nice post Robbie,Besides all you need the Fire Dept. for is finding the scene and lifting assistance. Really all you need to do is hire local people with a since of direction and able to lift over 100 lbs

<quoted text>So your saying Robbie Ball sack was unable to read or comprehend a budget? Any good administrator would have read his budget and foretasted any possible short fall, after all the budget was made a year in advance. Bad management and a failure to understand the budget process is no way anyone's fault but his own. And i am sure it was Cory's fault that Robbie hired his wife and claimed overtime for being a salary employee.
Budgets are approved in October of 2012 for 2013. Cory knew by that time that he was leaving. He shorted the budget...how is this Robbie's fault pray tell? When Robbie took over in January he was new and had to learn the budget process. Once he figured out he was going to be short he went to the Council and they helped the best they financially could. Robbie has been working on grants and other venues of income to help with the shortfall. So I agree with WOW...if you don't like your flippin job then quit...it's employees like you that make going to work for the others unbearable! And let me guess you're one of the volunteers who's hours got cut??? If I was Robbie I would be calling a meeting and weeding out the trouble makers!

Ohhhh PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! I will admit Cory was and still is a douche bag, but stop blaming him for Robbie's mistakes! So your saying Robbie was ill prepared for his new position?? Well maybe he should have NOT taken a job if he had no understanding of all aspects of the position. It really pi$$es me off to hear poor ole Robbie and the Reverend Brooks bitch, moan and blame Cory for various problems when they thought he walked on the right side of God when he was at the helm calling the shots. Maybe Robbie needs to be more like Harry Truman, with a sign on his desk saying "The buck stops here" and grow up and get his house in order.

O ok so you think that everyone that takes on a new job should already know that job before they take it? I have never heard of that! I know any job I have ever had I needed training! The difference here is that Robbie didn't have anyone to train him cause Cory had already moved on! I truly hope that he finds out who you are and fires your disloyal sorry ass! I think you forget that you work for Clinton County and the tax payers not Robbie! So grow up or QUIT!

I would consider taking this position. Cleaning house would be top of the list next to finding ways to fix the budget. I believe this could be a top notch service if you have the right person in charge.

It starts with a paper trail. A lot of time away from the office and reading reports at home. Finding the employees who are doing the basics just to get by. Doing proper QA's to assure the citizens of Clinton County are getting the correct and best possible care. There are ways to increase revenue by looking at these reports as well. Slight changes to reports can bring bigger reimbursement from insurance companies. Also holding classes in the education room open to other agentcies could be another way to bring revenue to this department and the county. If I was ever given the opportunity by the commissioners I would do my very best to bring Clinton County EMS to a respectable service.
Anyone who posts on here, including myself, probably has no business being an elected county or city official as well as a county or city employee.
