<quoted text> dear come on-- it's all one sided because if you had read the lawsuit-no one will release the public records about the case?---that's why they are called public records----do the Frankfort police and the mayor have something to hide?--there is no other side of the story--the young woman was drugged and raped----end of story--
Good try though..

Their side will play out in court, they took the high road and will prove their side, I am guessing,..

I believe it is a CIVIL case not a Federal case to start, according to the paper. Second, they have recorded evidence of all your above comments to submit in court in a case, or just hear say by the parents. Why this will probably will not to to trial is the shortage of evidence by the plaintiff. No conviction will ever happen on hear say. But David here is what is so up setting about your post,THE GIRL, explaining all her injuries for the world to know about, how do you people will view her now or mentally it effects her. The evidence was handled properly according to State police I was told. This girl made a big mistake by deciding to drink in this crowd of people. Those boys committed a horrible act that I hope will some how pay. Parents, put good morals and god in your childs life, don't be passive, they are watching your every move and learning how to live from you.

Here's some verified stuff for punyjab and the rest of you people from the lawsuit. The comments below the verified information are from the original and intelligent poster.
From the Federal Lawsuit
48. The attending nurse explained to XXXXXX that she found three anal tears and damage to her perineum that is usually only present in forced sex.
49. The nurse took pictures of XXXXXX’s bruised ankle, wrists, and mouth, anal tears, vaginal, and anal tears and bruising.
57. The FRANKFORT MAYOR also assured XXXXXX’s father that the rape kit had already been “taken down and turned in.”
58. Despite these assertions, it took almost five (5) weeks for the rape kit to be taken to the Indiana State Police crime lab, which is not normal protocol for any municipal, county or state law enforcement agency.
__________
Injuries like those that are documented in visual, written and photo, plus 5 weeks to submit the kit...
Yes, she was raped and the police by failing to follow established standards of handling a rape case will cause the city to settle out of court.
__________
Can you twist that punyjab???
Thank you for the cut & paste. How that makes you more intelligent than the rest of us is up for debate.

Based on the accusations filed in the civil suit FPD may be liable here, it's up for the court to decide. However I wonder what exactly the Mayor's fault is here, especially if he was told by FPD that the rape kit had been forwarded even when it had been not. Is it his full responsibility to make sure FPD follows every procedure every time? He is not an LEO, he is an executive.

Sounds like the "name more plaintiffs means a better chance at $" strategy.

Was there an actual crime committed by FPD or the Mayor?

Did I say that I was more intelligent? No. I said: "Here's some verified stuff for punyjab and the rest of you people from the lawsuit. The comments below the verified information are from the original and intelligent poster."

You have a serious issue and it revolves around... well never-mind. It's a waste of time talking to you because of your closed mind.

So every traffic stop, every accident, every domestic call, etc. the mayor is expected to personally follow up on? Wouldn't that be the job of the Chief of Police?

Punjab must be a real pain in Frankfort's ass.

He thinks 35% cost overruns are ok, he won't address the facts placed before him and instead chooses to try and manipulate the poster by "doing what he or she asks".

I'd say the best part of him ran down his momma's leg.

Make sure he stays up there.

I can't think of her name right now but she is someone that he contracted with to help with promoting Frankfort. Not saying that it's a bad thing just saying that the money that she has made could've been used to hire another Police Officer or purchase a few new vehicles? I'm sure she's paid out of the same fund.
Better yet, we could have taken the money and demolished more slum homes in the city. Wait, maybe that's why he hired her to make him look good so that people wouldn't notice that he's not doing anything to clean up the city.

The money for the relations person is fund kitty that actually was set aside for such things. While I don't agree with how it is spent, there isn't much that can be done about most of those fund sites. Emphasis on "most".

Having lunch a few years ago with Mayor Pippinger, I found out that he was denied access to a few of his "kitty's". When he conveyed that to me, I began to understand who, and how this town, was being controlled.

If I recall, the Mayor was not a republican.

This isn't to say that the former Mayor was "all that with a cup of tea", but to say that he, as well as the current mayor, are "guided" by the same council members as well as the B.o W.

The person that posted about it not only being the mayor's fault for these bad decisions, but also the council, B.o.W., Chamber, Pip, CCEF, and a few other groups, hit the nail right on the head.

I know that I can safely state that there are more and more people who are disgruntled with "trusting the elected officials" to do what the community of Frankfort desires.

Someone mentioned that a number of voters "approved" of the mayor and to that I would say a couple of things:

1. I surmise some of them have changed their minds based on his "not following thru" on his promises.

2. That he and his "advisers" have done a most excellent job of getting Frankfort on the media map. Unfortunately, this current situation isn't the way we would want it.

3. That they have done an outstanding job of spending the seven figure sum of money that the previous mayor managed to save by helping curtail spending. I recognize that Pippinger did that at great cost of not purchasing things and giving raises and for that I am disappointed. But the fact remains that he did and the "newbie" has spent it all.

Now I get that all this money wasn't in one big pot. I also get that it can't always be moved from one place to another. I think Marylin Chittick does as well.

But the point is, the money isn't there to finish campaign promises, blight issues, and infrastructure issues, so we have a right to be concerned about the spending attitudes of the Mayor as a whole.

Have you contacted the Mayor or a city council member with these concerns?

As for former Mayor Pippenger not having access to "kitty's", how can that be? Why didn't he put his foot down and demand to have the authority and power the people of the city elected him to have?

The fact that DAVID chooses to fight his fight on topix tells me he knows that all these comments he makes, he himself can't defend in public. Respect is not part of his make up.He has one interest only. He chooes to direct all his comments at discrediting the Mayor. People who do not respect people do not desreve respect. He must be a unhappy with his own success. But I am sure he will tell us different. He probably will tell us of all his personal attributes. That is again why he resides on topix.

Yawn... to you too.

How can you ascertain that I have not already been there??? How do you ascertain that I have been met with "thank you for coming to us", "you don't know the whole story", "you don't have all the facts" (as I stand there with several city of frankfort and clinton county documents refuting what the current administration is telling everyone) or no returns of phone calls?

But no, you and punjab always assume that people who make suggestions or complain only do it on here. That would be the wrong assumption.

But go ahead and whine some more about me. Maybe I'll give you some homemade goat cheese with it.:-)
