Disturbing the peace is a minor criminal offense that may be charged when someone makes excessive noise, especially in a residential area, such as vehicle, or other noise- or sound-producing device.
I called Central Dispatch @11:15pm tonight on a semi driver whom is disturbing the peace by parking in a residential area. Well the unprofessional female who answered acted as if I was bothering her?
I called back @11:35pm to see if she put the call through because the semi is still parked outside my house and no sheriff has arrived. So she put me on hold as soon as I said "I called 20 minutes ago,"-(beep, beep, beep).... After being on hold for 5 minutes a male picked up the line. He spoke to me like I was a retarded child, when I said how unprofessional that was of Mrs. No Name (who doesn't like to answer the phone although that's her fucking job) to not put the call through, then to put me on hold because this creep isnt rattling her windows or disturbing her children's sleep at midnight. He was rude as can be to me, now its 12:20am, the semi is still rattling my windows, and not 1 sheriff has came up here to investigate this complaint.
I informed both of them that 1/2 of these businesses are shut down and the other 1/2 of these businesses are closed so why can't someone atleast ask that he move the damn semi down there out of a residential area.
It's now 12:39am. The semi is still in the same spot. When I try to call Central Dispatch to resolve the issue these 2 morons put me on hold like its funny...

What I was trying to say is that there are ordinances in place for trucks parked on city streets. It depends on how they are plated. When I get a chance I will look up the ordinance number. I have had this happen before when I called the police in regards to a truck parked on a city street. They at first said there was nothing they could do. I called back and asked to speak to the shift supervisor, who also happened to be the responding officer. I informed him that I had the ordinance number that needed to be enforced. He had to do some checking, then proceeded to issue an order to remove it within 24 hours or it would be towed.

I'm pretty sure your small little problem with noise was nothing compared to the double digit amount of people who were stuck in the flooding roads and trapped in their cars.. But yes by all means lets stop and waste our valuable resources just so you can continue to e a pansy... GET OFF YOUR ASS AND ASK THE SEMI TRUCK TO MOVE YOURSELF... Guess what if u cause a big enough scene they'll call the cops on you and either way your problem gets solved doesn't it?? Think about people other than yourself.. I also read a report that the back of the jail was sandbagged overnight thurs because it was about to flood... There were WAY more important issues to deal with than a truck in your neck of the woods. Seriously??

For a normal citizen u shure seem to know a lot about what went on that night.and most of us "normal citizens" aren't usually aware of what goes on at the jail What so called report was that about the sandbagging that you read?
Really, your attitude on here reflects the same attitude we have to deal with when we call 911

Good idea.. Don't call.. Protect yourself day and night! Do all the things the ppl protecting this city do.. And it was in the journal and courier smartass.. Thanks for checking my resources.. Haha and i challenge you to go on a tour of dispatch like I did a few years back and see for yourself how much shit they have to deal with.. And when people call in with attitudes thinking that they can "fix" their problems it's frustrating for any of them.. My buddy mr Shue used to work there and told me constantly about how everyone thinks their problems are the most important.. Ppl don't stop to think about other people but themselves..
