Big shocker...drugs in Frankfort. Seriously, though, it's very sad for the children of these dealers:( It would really suck to be a kid whose innocence gets smashed into pieces when both parents go to jail for dealing. People don't understand (or don't care) how something of this magnitude can affect their child's psyche for the rest of their lives. It's not just themselves they are hurting. Those poor kids don't have a chance...

Why is it any of the articles ive read about this everyone wants to focus on the apperance of the people. These people are addicts probably selling to support their addict. Being an addict takes a toll on your physical and mental state. If they did have children sadly they were not properly cared for. Addiction is a disease and it is very hard to maintain. An addict is a very selfish person and they wil do whatever it takes no matter the consequences. I know all of this first hand because i once was this person. The people that were arrested luckily can receive help in prison. Wether they want it or not clinton county is starting to sentence people to therapeutic communities. I can say on my behalf if i wouldn't of been sent to prison and forced into a TC program i wouldn't be alive today. So maybe we shouldn't be so superficial. Maybe we shouldn't judge soneone for their apperance. We have no idea the struggles they go through. I can only hope they do get the help they need to become better parents and people in general.

If you have children, you should never do drugs in the FIRST PLACE, then there's NEVER a risk for addiction. When you're a good parent, you sacrifice in ALL accounts for you children. PERIOD. I'm a compassionate person, but there's no room for ANY compassion for those who become addicted after they have kids. NONE AT ALL. People like that do not deserve children. PERIOD.

Sacrifice in all accounts for your children??? So I stay in a physically harmful relationship with my spouse for my kids?

So you are a perfect person and have never had an addiction nor never made a mistake that affected your children?

What kind of attitude is that for you, a compassionate person, to have? Please explain that to us.

My only opinion is that they must have misquoted something in the paper. These drug dealers were not obtained through months of hard work of the FPD, they most likely were flipped by one of the recent arrested in another bust. Offered a deal. Thats how they were investigated and found quilty in the eyes of the good ol' police deptment.

While I admire the fact that you beat your addiction, it was YOUR choice and these others druggies choice to take that first pill, coke or heroine.Everyone KNOWS drugs are addictive yet they CHOOSE to do them. Real hard to have sympathy for them.

'Really' is closed minded because s/he has no use for people who put their drug ahead of their children? Get a real life.

Is it the cops fault that the big bad thugs cry like little girls when they get arrested and then want to sing like canaries to get out of trouble. The cops would be fools not to use that.
