Taking action, my action is leaving topix, it is truly a place for timid souls. Leaving you with these famous words from Teddy Roosevelt.
It is not the critic that counts, not the one who points out how the strong man stumbled or how the doer of deeds might have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena; whose face is marred with sweat and dust and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions and spends himself in a worthy cause and who, if fails, at least fails while bearing greatly so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

So go ahead BAKATCHA and PUNJAB IS do what you do best, be a critic. McBarnes does not listen to critics nor does it even matter. It's people like him that achieve. Failure is an option, so is victory! Time will tell, the above words will prove true is my bet!

Really what world are you living in. Just say something about Chris and he will find a way to try and get you either fired or he himself will replace you. And whose face is marred with sweat dust and blood. All I have ever saw was someone that likes to hear himself talk. A talker he is but a good leader he is not. For being a good leader takes experience, knowledge but above all wisdom and he has none that I mentioned. He makes things personal when you have something negative to say about him. Know that for a fact!!!!! He needs to remember of all things he may have a vision however he works for every citizen of this town not himself and his vision. He was voted in but look at the people he has placed in positions that he has authority over and you will see that he has done exactly what the public did not like and vote for John O'Brien for. He says we are open for business okay where is the business except for a couple of small local businesses. but I has you all look at the businesses /employee count we have lost compared to what we have gained . Guaranteed you will see the employees lost way away what we have gained.

And if a major business was to come here when they look at the employment base along with a School system that has a grade of D. Can't imagine any would come. We can't pull from Lebanon they have a very successful Industrial park, and we can't pull from Lafayette for they have SIA, Cat, Fairfield, Alcoa, Wabash. So where would we pull for employees? Don't say Frankfort cause just check with some of your local industry they have an average of 35% turn over rate.

Thank-you for putting that out there. I would have to say the turnover is much higher than 35% in our industrial park. Several of these factories have low pay or use temporary services. Our largest employer Frito Lay will not even hire full time. I know several people that have been part time for years!
Lets also touch on the fact that for years we have given these companies tax abatement's. Not one of these companies have executives management that would ever consider purchasing a home in Frankfort or sending their children to our poor and dysfunctional school corporation. Many live in Lafayette, Westfield, or Carmel.
It is no secret that city employee's have been advised to not speak negatively or disagree with his highness. We are all to live in fairy tale land here in Frankfort.
I for one could care less for his rehearsed speeches and every staged photo opportunities.

Why don't you people get over it. We elected a great young man with a super political future that can do nothing but help Frankfort and we should give him 100% of our support. We need to unite behind this young man who attends church regularly, supports our community and is honest as the day is long.
