What does any of this have to do with the golf course. Punjab and Punjab is should start their own thread.

Because the family handlers made their puppets vote for more money to be thrown at a losing business.

Are you ok with taxpayers bailing them out yet again?

I assume nothing about what 'Yup' thinks, only that he made the statement "Do you have proof they are not Handlers or Puppet Masters?" Why should I have to prove a negative? Only on Topix......
As for your refusal to explain your reasoning we'll just have to chalk that up to the lack of courage of your convictions and/or you have no real evidence. I suspect it is both.
Ol 'Yup' has proved you wrong once before, no need to do it time and time again...$50,000 Punjabbyy......

Yup,$50k for something that benefits the community. It's what government is for.

And again, do you have proof that the voting parties were forcibly told to vote for the $50k by their 'handlers' or 'puppet masters', even if they personally wanted to vote against it?

Is there a difference between 'handlers'/'puppet masters' and friends/advisers? Should an elected official go it %100 alone and never seek the advice of others?

If I have read all of this correctly, I believe the total amount tendered to the management company is actually 100k with it being evenly split between the county and city governments.

Can you put aside your attitude about the politicians and whether they are or are not being "directed" to vote a certain way and provide verifiable answers to the following?

1. Can you show, using regional and local information, how having the golf course in Frankfort is a useful economic attracting tool? It looked like you made a feeble attempt at this by providing a link. Frankly, that article lacked any relevance to the city and county's current course.

2. Can you provide information as to the last year that the course did not finish at least 100k in the negative?

3. Please give us your rational as to why the county and city, as well as any "shareholders", should continue to pay for any management team that cannot stay within the money allotted to them.

4. Has any management team, county, and or city, developed any sort of plan to get the golf course out of debt? I recall the Chamber's own Shan Sheridan indicating that they were over 400k in debt to some group. And finally,

5. How is this golf course a benefit to the community? Can you site any player counts per week or month?

I wouldn't say it benefits the community or maybe it does benefit 20 or 30 players. If the community really cared about this golf course they would be playing and patronizing it. Its obvious for most to see this is not being supported..

So you are a believer this is what Government is for? Then you agree that Government should run everything and we shouldn't have private companies. I am assuming that is because you believe Government is much more efficient than the private sector?

I don't need to have proof if they were forcibly told to vote a certain way. Do you have proof they weren't? Please elaborate if you would, this could be a serious crime. Talk to you later RG. Remember the $50,000 Punjabby and that 'Yup' proved you wrong again.......

Having a golf course in our community does help to sell our location to potential businesses interested in coming. So I can appreciate the local government officials concerns about it closing. However it is not up to the taxpayers to foot the bill to keep it open. The current owners should be having fundraisers and possibly looking in grants or other sources of income to stay afloat. Why is it that Angel Hill and Deer Track are making it and Frankfort isn't? Maybe marketing tactics or pricing? I don't know the answer other than it doesn't seem ethical to want to help a company keep a golf course open when the County wanted to lay off employees and not replace people who have left positions. How does the city seem to have so much money?

*yawn*'Yup' did not prove me wrong. When the talk about $50k started I simply stated that I had not heard about it through reputable sources. I never said he was right, and I never said he was wrong.

Anonymous, unregistered Topix accounts who could be any one of dozens of individuals are hardly reputable. A broken clock is correct twice a day, so what? Is 'Yup' now a trustworthy and reputable local government insider who knows all the intrigue and machinations going on with our elected officials and their 'puppet masters'?

A broken record.

But no surprise. When someone fails over and over, you'd think they would find a new approach.

Since Frankfort is over 50% hispanic, then why is a golf course needed? Hispanics DON'T play golf. It seems the only people who really use it are wealthy folks that are old, and remember Frankfort from many years ago. Those days are gone. Frankfort is now a hispanic community, things have changed, we don't need it.

Nice try.

You are a minority in regards to total population in not only Frankfort, but Clinton County as well.

Your true Catholic and Christian Hispanic friends and family as well must be disappointed in your lack of love for your neighbor.

And again registering is asinine. If you think it's so important, then use your real name and up your real face. Otherwise, your a coward just like everyone else on here.

Of course you will continue to argue because that's what you enjoy doing. Too bad you're wrong.

Get back with us when you have the balls to post under your real name and use a real picture of yourself. Then others might follow. After all, that's what you want. That's what all republican Clinton countians want.

The major majority of Hispanics are sickened by your callus attitude towards them

You have no argument about registering vs non registering.
You think that you are being truthful. If that indeed is accurate, then post your name.

Are you taking this road because you can't come up with any valid responses for the questions posed by another poster above.

You, sir, are an imbecile. You twist things around, you don't use any sensible logic when you argue you continue arguing when you have been proven wrong as well as a liar, and your rhetoric shows that you have yourself aligned with the idiots that run what used to be a great city.
