When I say pave my lot, I mean pave my lot. The benefits of being the master pulling the strings.

You boys wait for my next order. Thinking I might need the parks peeople come and do some spring clean-up in the yard.

Wow... Those holes filled instead of the big potholes? We don't fix the holes downtown? Ridiculous if you ask me. There are holes right across from Tom's place that didn't get fixed. Less than 20 feet away from his lot.

The parking lot in the picture appears to be Kramer's.

Ransom owner of Kramer's.
Ransom on the BOW.
Ransom controls the mayor.

Everyone always says we need change but when are they going to realize that "things might change with each adminstration but they always stay the same. Small business minded politicans in this town will never allow for bigger business to come to our city in fear they will be put out of business themselves. And there will always be the good ole boy system no matter who is in office that seems to be the "American Way" anymore. And if you try and stand up to them they find a way of justifying their actions or just ignoring this issue all together. Not sure there is an answer anymore.

Well, I for one think it's important to keep that lot looking good. After all, those of us that shop there should have a smooth entrance and exit. It makes it less painful on our rear-ends after we pay for our overpriced product.

Well at least maybe now their prices will come down some with the new menards open 20 min. away.

Even with $4/gal gas it's usually cheaper to make the trip.

We don't hold our breath for that. We believe that MCF will be the winner here. Community involvement without political affiliations lead us to believe that many people will take their business to them.

BTW, why doesn't winski's get any of the city's scrap business? The material we have seen at the Wampler yard leads us to assume more political paybacks.

That location isn't as open to the public view as Winski's is. Plus the manager and owner would probably call and ask if permission was documented in the minutes of the BoW. That's the kind of operation they run.

But you have to see the logic of unloading and hiding stuff delivered from the city easier at Wamps than Wins...

I see lots of cars at Winski's. I saw forklift a few weeks ago at Wampler's then saw more city scrap the other day. And yet there is nothing in the BoW minutes about the ok.

Ransom needs to leave the mayoring to McBarnes and get his head back into the lumber game. I saw another one of his buddies at menards in Leb. If he can't do that at least forge the minutes to make it look like it was discussed
