First of all let me say I used to be a server at Pepe's, I understand Mr greeno has made one of hist campaign issues about the ilegals in Frankfort and how he is going to stop it or slow it down. Mr Greeno eats at pepe's several times a week and he knows there are illegals working in the kitchen, in fact that is all there is in the kitchen. why then does he eat at a place knowing that is going on if he thinks the illegals are so bad for frankfort

Pepe's hasn't gotten the memo from McBarnes they are suppose to be using E-Verify and this will drive all the illegals out of town.

Excuse me but just how did Greeno lie? If he indeed knows that illegals are working at Pepe's what can he do about it at this point in time since he is just a civilian? How many civilians eating at Pepe's are able to ask for these workers proper papers? Or anyone in elected office for that matter.

Still I would like to know what lie he has made here. It's not like he falsified living in town in order to run for the Mayoral position or anything like that.

Since PePe's is a franchise, I bet they have to make sure every penny is accounted for.

u obviously have no clue about the real world and as far as Greeno not telling a lie, well I guess he is technically not but I am sure there are other restaurants in town that do things legally yet he goes to pepe's and eats free salsa all night and treats the servers like his slaves

I don't know that I would consider my server a slave but doesn't your server really try and do what you want? Don't they want a good tip and I guess if I ask them to get something, I hope they do that. You can call it slavery if you will but I call it a great server doing his/her job. If I was a server, I would certainly be a slave to my customers if I was getting paid good in the end.

Let me set the record straight. I have waited on Mr. Greeno and his wife many times. Number one''in all the time I have been there, he seldom asked for more chips and any time he does ask for something he always says please and thank you, and if everybody tipped their servers like he does, we would be very happy waitresses and waiters. Any time he comes in, almost every waitress and waiter stops and talks to him. He is well respected by us.

Well, I never heard Greeno tell the voters he had a 4.0 from Butler and would be graduating with a double major in May 2011. Nor did he say he is Frankfort's Fresh Start, and then openly lineup with Stock and Pippenger and Osbon. He actually lives in the city limits - he didn't have an apartment rented in his name by a big money supporter while living with his parents out at little lakes...

And, unlike Mr. Todd, he is not living with his mother. He will not work for $1 per year as our Mayor. He has not been "missing in action" for 20 years, only to return to Frankfort recently and then decide to run for Mayor at the last hour.

If the only thing people can complain about is "he goes to pepe's and eats free salsa all night" he's the guy for the job so let's vote Greeno and get this town cleaned up.

Let there be free salsa and chips for everyone, woopeee!

Richard, if I were you, I would fire whoever wrote that piece for the paper and if it was you, I would be sending out some apologies.

Folks this isn't an issue with PePe's, this is an issue with honesty and integrity and that piece in the paper is a piss poor example of those things.

This clearly shows that he and McBarnes will say AND do anything underhanded to get elected. This just shows that there is only one man in this race. Mr. Todd. One is still a child as far as experience goes and the other is a washed up fool trying to be something he is not. Honorable. Best of luck to Mr. Todd!

Since this person mentions that Todd didn't live in the city for 20 years, it says to me that Greeno or one of his close close supporters posted this.

Richard, you are a sad sad man to do or allow something like that. What you have showed me is you don't want transparency, you want to tell lies. I thought the Republican candidate had that covered.

I pray that you wake tomorrow and offer an apology to Brett Todd and to the public thru the Times for your dishonesty.

To whoever, Mr. Todd has said himself that he has been gone around 20 years from this town, and he does live with his mother, and again that is his own statement. So what is wrong with Mr. Greeno just restating the facts? He didn't slam Mr. Todd for being gone. He just asked a question. To me, I think that is fair. I don't see why you would slam Mr. Greeno for making that statement and how is the truth a lie? or do you just like to twist facts?

No, Brett told Richard that he was gone for around 13 years. I know this because Richard told me as much. He also wanted Mr. Todd to be his campaign manager. I know this because he told me that several times over the last few months and also as late as two days ago when he called me.

HE LIED!!!! Get that thru your head. I know it and you most likely do too. I am not twisting facts. I learned in the military to have your documentation, conversations, and e-mails backed up in ways so when you are called out you can prove all your points.

What's the big deal if Mr. Greeno did ask Mr. Todd to be his campaign manager? and What's the big deal about how many years? The fact is...he has been gone for many years from the community. All Mr. Greeno did was ask a question and in that question he stated...for Around 20 years. I don't see a lie there. He didn't say he had been gone 20 years. Again, it was nothing against Mr. Todd. It was just a question and a comparison to who the public wanted to have as their mayor. I see no fowl. Even the paper this morning quoted Mr. Todd at 41 and Mr. Todd said he had lived here 27 years. To me that would be 14 years not 13...and did he live in Frankfort 27 years as he said, or did he live outside of Frankfort for some of those years? If he did, then whose is not telling the truth?
