The Times reported that Frankfort residents may start to see a higher "police presence" in their neighborhoods if police car take home policy is revised. McBarnes claims that this will improve the city; (more visibility = less crime).

McBarnes states that police cars will not be allowed to be taken on vacations but has yet to say if cars can be taken out of town on shopping trips; etc with family and friends being allowed to ride along and what the legalities and or liabilities this may have on the city of Frankfort if injury occurs to (anyone or thing) involving a Frankfort Police car.

We all know how police like to speed so maybe it should be required that a monitoring device be used to log off duty police officers driving habits when using a city Police car for personal use. They say “an once of prevention is worth a pound of cure”

Yes my friends indeed take baby steps; this one is going to be compared and watched very closely. The proof will be in the pudding, Good Luck !

Maybe they should buy economical vehicles from The king. Then they could get free donuts delivered.
Instead of getting on hear, why don't you go talk to him yourself? But that makes too much sense.

If you are going to monitor and be so concerned out our local police and their cars why are you not so concerned out our local county deputies? I never c anything on here about what they make, thier car usuage and all the family that work for the Clinton County Jail. Tax payer money goes for county and city policecars. Lets be fair and unbaised with our comements.

I would not call it a discriminating watch dog I would call it two faced watch dog. Which is so typical on this site and with the local citzens of Clinton county people.

And we thank him for his selfless act of bravier, but condemn you for trying to tarnish his name. Shame on you, not sure you would have not the same if put in that situation. But thanks for giving me a laugh on your spelling. We all know you r trying to disguise who you truly r. Just remember karma is a b....!
