Check out this article about this young boy who died here in NH. I think he was murdered also.Read carefully what Med. examiner and F & G officer has to say.

This is a shame.....

Yes, indeed a shame...I admire the fortitude of those who dare question....perhaps eventually there will be citizens sick and tired enough to admit that these crimes do happen in their/my back yard.

This is old news posted Dec.04.
The chief medical examiner after the autopsy was done stated that the boy died of hypothermia. If he was murdered don't you think they would have known with their training? Are you saying for a fact that the Chief Medical Examiner is lying?
Do you think that everyone in NH is lying and covering up when a person is missing or found dead in the woods?
It is very easy to get twisted around in the woods especially for a child. Where were his parents/family when he was wandering off into the woods?
Yes it is a terrible shame that he died but imo the only one to blame for his death is mother nature.
Shack perhaps there are already citizens sick and tired of some trying to dump crimes in their back yards where no crimes exist.

When there is a coverup...IT IS NOT OLD NEWS...Did you not read what the article says. He had dirt up his nose and his fingernails were freshly cut. Patric was 2 1/2 miles from his home up the side of a steep mountain. Don't you think a boy of that age after climbing up the mountain might just have dirt under his fingernails. Also none of his stuff was ever found after an intense search.
This is not over yet....

Wowzer,
I smell another set-up by the same few people who are "working" the Murray/Kenney cases, along with King, and who hope to connect missing persons across a range of time that spans 30 years in the North Country.
This is only a blog.

Yes I did read the article so save your sarcasm but you still haven't answered my questions.
Are you stating that the Chief Medical Examiner lied? Where were the family and relatives of this boy when he wandered off the path?
Are you saying that someone carried a 10yr old boy 2 1/2 miles uphill? Have you personally gone to the area and studied it to see firsthand what kind of terrain it actually was?
A boy that age is more able to walk a steep path than someone older like O'Connell that stated he had to pull himself up the path with his hands.
That sounds more like mountain climbing without the equipment to me. If I was him I'd sure give up hiking as it sounds like it would be a painful experience for the poor man.
And last, since I haven't read anything in the news lately about the case being re-opened then in my opinion it is most certainly OLD news that you have dredged up.

Yes Snowy it's very obvious isn't it. I've also noticed the span that they are trying to connect.
I sure wish they would get a life and maybe get together and write some mystery or science fiction novels instead of trying to blacken the eye of our beautiful and peaceful state.
There are far worse happenings going on in other places.

OLD NEWS! I would imagine that it is not old news to the family that wakes up every morning realizing that they will never see their precious child again. He is no longer with them, he's not coming back to them, and all they are left with are questions as to what, why, and how this happened to their son.
OLD NEWS. LITTLE PATRIC MCCARTHY. Your insensitivity is appalling.

It is heartbreaking for any parent to lose a child and I certainly wasn't being disrespectful or insensitive by stating it is a 4 year old news article. If someone did'nt notice the date in the corner of the article they might think it had happened very recently which it didn't.

dated, old news...2004...suddenly unearthed by less than a handful of wannabe activists. otherwise, a very sad story, as i'm sure Wowzer would agree.
a hustler spoiled the spirit of truth-seeking and advocacy for civil rights...and is often found hiding by proxy.
gosh, you have no shame.

Yes. Whats really funny now is that someone who I assume is one of his supporters is ranting and threatening to sue people if they post private information!!!!

Its not like any of his/her friends would ever dare to do something so audacious. I'm sure he/she would not even want to be associated with someone who would do something so low. LOL.

You all appear to be engaging in the precise behaviors you had stated you most dislike. Time to look in the mirror for all of you.

What you most dislike in others is usually what you most dislike in yourselves.
You have all proven that recently.

Wowzer....

I was not being sarcastic. I was just asking if you read the article. And YES I do know the area and have been there. The case may be old, but it is still news. Whether or not you choose to agree with my theory is your own decision. I am not trying to make anyone believe anything. I am just stating facts and my opinion.

The parents were at the condo packing to head back to Mass. The boys 3 of them had gone to the playground to hang out before they left. They were headed back and it is a short trek (500') through the woods on flat ground. There is no reason Patric would have decided to go up the hill, a very very steep terrain. 2 1/2 miles is a long way I know, but if he did climb up that hill he would be dirty and have dirt under his nails. Why would his nails be freshly clipped and his parents didn't do it, so who did. A killer will often cover his tracks by getting rid of any DNA by doing this. I am just stating this, I am not saying this is fact. I have talked to quite a few people at the condo complex as well as searchers. None of these people believe that patric would have been able to accomplish the trek up the mountain. There is reasonable doubt that a different scenario transpired.

No I am not saying the M.E. lied. But from what the F & G officer says it does seem odd.

If I remember correctly, he was found laying in a drainage when they found him. His hands and nails could have easily been washed clean with the heavy rains they had in the mountains during the search period.

I remember that case very well. There was nothing suspicious about his death at all. Tragic but not suspicious.

again, the globe article is dated back to jan.'05...aside from the tragic nature of the story, is there a connection being made or drawn relative to other cases in the area? i'd presume that to be the push here.
