I don't know for sure, but it looks to me like someone used the "Feedback" feature (bottom of page) to request that the whole thread be deleted, and a mod complied!! I have read elsewhere that someone can get a thread taken down that way. I don't know how else it could have just disappeared.

why would someone do that? is there a way to get it back? I think we just lost a lot of useful info that we compiled from the last few days of talking. Interesting it happens now when we're finally getting along enough with one another to make some progress, don't ya think?
hm.

No idea if we can get it back. And there is an incredible amount of information "gone". Hard to search for, but it was all here....

I just went and used the Feedback feature to ask if we can get the forum/topic back. Dunno what they'll say. I can understand some posts being reported, but if that is what happened, why take down the whole thing for a few posts?

The other day I posted Citigirl's actual post on this thread written several months ago re: the woman walking her dog.

The incident was conveyed to her, and a few others, by someone else.

It appears Citigirl did not speak with the woman.

from wiki

The bogeyman (also spelled boogyman, bogyman, boogieman, boogey monster, or boogeyman) is a booger or legendary ghost-like monster. The bogeyman has no specific appearance, and conceptions of the monster can vary drastically even from household to household within the same community; in many cases he simply has no set appearance in the mind of a child, but is just an amorphous embodiment of terror. Bogeyman can be used metaphorically to denote a person or thing of which someone has an irrational fear. Parents often say that if their child is naughty, the bogeyman will get them, in an effort to make them behave[citation needed]. The bogeyman legend may originate from Scotland, where such creatures are sometimes called bogles, boggarts, or bogies.[1]

Bogeymen may be said to target a specific mischief for instance, a bogeyman that punishes children who suck their thumbs or general misbehavior.

Is taking the thread down Mason and my surprise?

So sorry if that is that case for all of us who have put in so many hours of
hard work on this case but then again
truly shows the depth of selfishness
and what will be done to continue
to keep hiding the truth in this case!

It appears what is good for the goose
isn't for the garner and a duck rules.

Better not hold my breath since it's not the first time some OLD TIMER has lost
his chops is it?
Probably some bar fight for running talking out of the side of his mouth!

perhaps so, WW. an interesting thought, and a good guess. if so, the ultimate in manipulation and control. your thought is backed up by previous commentary about the methods of limiting conversation on the original MMM site.
