Absolutely no problem with the outcome. The cops are alive and well.
The so-called "gentle giant" described in the article is not the same guy police confronted. Hopefully this won't get dragged out in the courts because the deceased was both WRONG and a threat to the police/public.
He's dead.... because HE made a very poor CHOICE: Drinking alcohol when he knew better.
No, the cops did not shoot too many times.
Case closed.

Yes, I agree. Anyone who drinks alcohol should be shot. It's always a poor choice and we should go back to Prohibition. Alcohol = sin in the Lord's eyes. God should punish all who drink it, sell it, or promote it.

I actually thought you were being sarcastic but you're serious.
"Prohibition"???? "Sin in the Lord's eyes"? "Shot"!
Let us be sensible. Please.
You can read about the severe (for lack of a better word) allergic reaction a sector of the population will have when consuming alcohol--even a little bit of it. A normally calm and reserved man has the potential of turning into monster, which is exactly what someone in one of the articles described.
What's the matter with someone having a drink once in a while to unwind? Or a guy who, "responsibly," walks to the corner pub, gets a little sloshed? If he's not violent or bothering anyone, it's his personal business, between him and God. Right?
Are my views absurd?

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Cancer

Love could catch you by surprise today. You might be strongly attracted to someone who isn't your usual type at all but who makes your knees go weak all the same, or you could get caught up in an illicit relationship that's exciting because it has to be kept a secret. If you're already involved with someone they'll need plenty of freedom and won't appreciate feeling emotionally tied down. You need to let them off the leash for a short while!
