Penn State lockdown touched nerves still raw from Virginia massacre

Dorothy Turay was talking with a friend on her cell phone as she was getting a ride from her apartment to the Penn State-Schuylkill Haven campus Monday afternoon.

Turay got as far as the administration building and was called inside.

There the student learned the campus was going into a lockdown because of 'erratic behavior' by a former student.

And there she stayed for hours as the entire campus was closed while police searched for a student they said had stolen a cache of guns from his parents' home. Read more
