Since you are a "tough" guy who kills innocent, unaware animals trying to eat grass for sport, then you should be tough enough to defend yourself from real dangerous animals like humans. Maybe this is how you hide from your cowardice, by being macho on those animals out there just trying to eat what nature have for them and these animals never invaded your privacy. People should hunt dangerous "in-the-act" creatures ONLY. I don't like the idea of deers invading my home during breakfast and killing me in front of my family because I'm the only buck. You may want to tell the real story how you and them "Broke Back" in the forest.:-)

Sees we have all the fact, and hunters are wrong. I guess you all eat greens and fruit to survive everyday. Sure the investigating officer will come to you a conclusion also. The beef, pork and chicken you eat comes form the grocery store. If I was to take a closer examination those animals are killed. You just are not the one committing the killing. Fishing is terrible too, since we eat most of them after using the hook to bait them. Please green peace or activist that you may be. Counter with some justifiable reasoning. Mot hunters are conservationist. They are providing resources on their time to better the forest and the population of animals. Safety wise you may have missed the mark. I always carry a weapon plus the bow. Is imperative to have protection against predators, liker the snakes, mountain lion, coyotes. If thier is a hidden agenda it will come out with the police invetigation.

Now the added worry of charges for filing a false police report, just tell the wife you lost the rent money to give to the trailer park manager in a game, went out a got drunk and can't remember where your truck is... sounds better than, I got jumped in the middle of the woods and hid 'til they were gone
