But those that aren't doing "what you can" do need to hear it.<quoted text>
My point is, that while its admirable that you detest people that are cruel to animals, if youre not also supporting low-cost spay/neuter programs, youre not really helping and only adding your two cents here to make yourselves feel better.
So if you REALLY care about the poor, neglected animals, put your money where your mouths are (or fingers as the case is here). Donate time/money to local animal care facilities and/or TNR projects. Otherwise youre just blowing smoke.
What makes you think all of us responders aren't doing that already? Those of us who are already doing what we can don't need another lecture!
And there still aren't any answers the questions I posed. Are you you going to adopt any of those cats? Are you going to pay for any of the health care costs? Are you going to sponsor any of them to be spayed/neutered?
I'm already at capacity in my home per the laws in my municipality, so I cannot foster any of those cats. But I've already sent a check to assist with the care of the cats. Have any of the posters that were so outraged done anything? It's about putting your money where your mouth is.
Like I said - most likely, the posters were all just blowing smoke. It's easy to sit and type and be outraged over what happened. It's another thing to actually DO something. And if you are doing 'something,' and my original post didn't apply to you, good for you and the animals you help. You could have taken this opportunity to help spread the word that more help is needed.
Instead all you decided to do on here was comment on my post. You didn't offer anything of any value except to yourself (making yourself feel better by attacking me personally).
