i heard the majority of the construction crews of these wind farms were laid off last week. Is this true?

Benton County lacks diversity and lost a lot of revenue due to not having the basic needs provided for the wind turbine employees... i.e. motels, housing, restaurants that open before 6:00 a.m. and close after 9 p.m., indoor swimming pool, physical fitness center and more. 80% of the turbine employees house, dine and shop in Lafayette where there needs are met.
