New wind farm planned in Benton Co.

Benton County could soon be seeing another wind farm. On Monday, Indianapolis Power and Light announced plans to move forward with an wind farm near Fowler.

Benton County lacks diversity and lost a lot of revenue due to not having the basic needs provided for the wind turbine employees... i.e. motels, housing, restaurants that open before 6:00 a.m. and close after 9 p.m., indoor swimming pool, physical fitness center and more. 80% of the turbine employees house, dine and shop in Lafayette where there needs are met.
