Yea I don't see it happening either the churches would throw a fit over this. I was just wanting to get people's opinion on it. |

If I really want to I'm going to get drunk regardless & I'm sure it's like that with most other people. |

I agree people want to get mad over it but if I want a drink I take my business to Corbin and give them my money. Its not like people aren't going to get it from bootleggers or Tn if they want to drink. People don't understand this will bring money into our county/city. |
If they sell it in stores, not the way Corbin has it set up. People drink at Applebees and drive home. I'm all for buying a 6 pack and going home, then drinking.

Yes, Is there anyway we can try to get this done? It would probably help bring jobs to knox co also as establishments would consider maybe coming here if booze is served. "the let's all get drunk together guru"
that is something they dont want jobs seems like they dont work on trying to get any new jobs |
Yes that would so be awesome! But it needs to be completely wet, not moist like Corbin and London. I'd like to go to the store and buy some beer without having to drive for it.
yeah, I agree. I have lived in Corbin for 2 years. I don't go out and drink...so, I'm still making my trips to TN or lexington to buy my alcohol and then going home. If they sold it in stores....we could buy it and drink at home. Not go out, drink, then drive home after drinking. Makes sense to me....but, doubt it will happen. Churches and bootleggers wont let it happen...for totally different reasons. |

i checked all somebody has to do is go to the city and ask for a petition to be passed around and the city could be voted wet in the next election next year
i can never remember a time when its been dry
