Walter "Tom" Smith missing

I don't know if I will even get a reply on this. No oneseems to know anything and the investigating officers constantly withhold information regarding suspicious parties involved. but here it is. my best friend, Walter Smith Jr., went missing on September 3, 2006 after he came into some money. He is a friendly man and is well-liked. the kind that would give the shirt off his back to you if you needed it. He left behind his family including his sister in the same town he lives in, his daughter that he thought the woul of, his dog left to him by his passed father,his friends, and a new restaraunt that was to be opened on September 4. He was never one for confrontation as he couldn't whip himself out of a wet paper bag. Some may have called him a drunk, but to us he was a loved man. I am leaving a web address that has the extra info and links if anyone would care to contribute. I have searched along side these people to no evail. There is just no clue on where to look next. We need help to bring our brother home. I hope someone will recognize him.

thank you for the posting. i am tom's oldest daughter. i am currently stationed in san diego california. i was deployed when i found out about my fathers disappearence. i am very concerned that he may never come home. i am two weeks away from a second deployment since he went missing. all i want is closure. i dont know what to do out here and i hate leaving out to sea with no answers. if anyone knows anything please email me at [e-mail]

I am Tom's youngest daughter Tasha(lucy). I was one of the people that new there was something wrong when my dad wouldn't answer the phone for 2 weeks. I have been going through the worst time ever since my daddy went missing. I wish someone knew something...if anyone knows something please tell me....my dad means the world to me and i know that I meant the world to him....

hi tasha, hi tonya. yes, it's me even though it says minneapolis. it's time to get this out in the news again i think. i talk to john all the time and i've been in contact with alice recently too. none of us are giving up. i'm gonna save your email addresses and keep you all posted with any new info.
and to kenny, thank-you. I will save your email as well. nice to know that in a world full of hate there are some good eggs still out there.

Im tasha's best friend and i have known tom my whole life. toms a good man and even though people say he's a drunk tom's a good man and i know for a fact that he loved his daughter very much and she was his world. no matter what people say he didnt leave on his own he wouldnt have he would have told tasha or he would have called her. people need to get his name and face back into the news and find out where he is or what happened to him

those who know me know that i am not a very outward religious person. but i pray every day that Tom is found. if nothing else, for closure for the family. we need to know what happened. and if someone was responsible for him missing, they WILL be dealt with.

i know that everything is just about done for. no one seems to care anymore. if i could have anything in the world right now i would have my dad right here trying to help me get through my last year of high school, but no i don't get that anymore. i don't get to hear my dad's voice anymore, and i don't get to tell him i love him. I jus want that back.

yesterday was the anniversery of my dads disappearance. i miss him so much and it is really hard to deal with right now. yesterday was a really really hard day for me people jus don't understand the things that i am feeling right now they don't know what i am going through.. my dad was my world and now all i really can do is just try to move on and get through high school and make him proud.

obviously no one ever checks this thing anymore, i guess no one has time, or they just don't care anymore. I saw that Alice had a candle light vigual for my dad, but the bitch never told me anything, she know's my number and my moms number. I have previously told her that we don't really have a chance to check the e-mail so she knows to call. I just wish my dad would be found and all this would come to an end, because i am so tired of being left out. My dad never really wanted anything to do with Alice. He didn't really give 2 shits . I jus feel like Alice doesn't care about anyone but herself. She isn't doing any of this because she cares she is doing everything that she has been doing to make herself look good for the media. I am so sick and tired of being the one that no one asks anything to...WHY DOESN'T THE NEWS OR THE PAPER COME TO ME I AM SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THEN HER. SHE DOESN'T DESERVE ATTENTION SHE JUST LIKES TO BE THE CENTER OF IT. OMG I WISH SOMEONE WOULD LISTEN TO ME FOR A CHANGE!!!!!! BUT LIKE I SAID OBVIOUSLY I DONT MATTER!!!!!

This is what makes me so upset. people know that this thing is here and yet i am the only one who checks it and posts anythingn. i try to hard to be strong, but i can't help but feel that i am all alone. There is nothing that i want more in this world than to have my dad back, but i know that it's never going to happen. But it would be nice to hear some encouraging words that maybe would make me feel a litte better about things, but i see that EVERYONE FORGOT EXCEPT FOR ME!!!!
