Bennet: Pinon Canyon funding ban could continue

U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet says he's been assured by his colleagues in the Senate that a funding ban on the Army 's proposed expansion of a disputed training site in southeast Colorado will remain in effect.

I believe both sides are gong to extremes to make their point. I don't believe the Army needs any more room at Pinon Canyon, and yes, I've been there; 6 times. Lots of room out there.

On the other hand, the ranchers are saying "valuable agricultural land" will be lost? What are they growing down there, tumbleweeds? I haven't seen shit grown in the PCMS area.
