Now Iím going to tell you what to expect:

1) Itís going to get much worse before it gets better. Especially for you ladies who have several children with no birth certificates. Iím not going to lie to you. You are facing hell. Iím sorry. That doesnít change what you need to do. You still need to leave. Today. Take whatever you can get your hands onó vehicles, cash, something to sell so you can feed your kids until you can find a church or charity or family member to take you in. Tony has made an art out of teaching us to be afraid of everything, and trust no one. The truth is, most people are a little bit bad, but they are also compassionate. There are good people out there who will help you. Find them. Leave today.

2) Donít worry about how weird you are. Everyone is weird. Even the rich. Guess what? The only normal I can see are the Disney Channel sitcoms, and they spend millions creating those stages and weeks practicing their lines. Thatís essentially what humans do every day. They practice getting better at being themselves, normal or not. Mainstream society is pinching and scrimping. All of us. Now is a really good time to leave. Youíll fit right in with all the other broke people running around trying to figure what to do, except youíll be more interesting. Rich people love people like us. They call us ďprojectsĒ and they will use their money to help us in order to relieve themselves of the guilt of being rich. Just another reason why you should leave today.

3) If you do get involved with rich people or family members, do it realizing that you are indebting yourselves to them emotionally and materially. That is not a bad thing unless you plan to up and move off to a big city and get a high powered job some day after you are recovered. Then things can get sticky. Iím going to write a post on this later, so if you donít know what Iím talking about, stay tuned. The best way to break free from a cult happens to be the most difficult way. Leave on your own, take what you can (reasonably) and rough it for a while. I know of several people who did this and it worked out very well for them. If you have children, your moral responsibility is to take every single free thing offered to you and them, stay off drugs and alcohol, and rough it as much as you can until you and they (the teenagers) can get jobs and feed yourselves. Again, there is no right answer to how to leave a cult, but different paths take you different places. You want to end up as free as possible in the end. So work towards that.

Leave. Today.

One more suggestion...Even though you've been made to believe terrible things about the government, if you have kids you might need to make the leap to go to Social Services and get some TEMPORARY help. Get Food Stamps, qualify for a housing assistance, and job training. These are just to help you get on your feet until you're able to support yourself.

You got that right, Bro. D.. You hit that nail right on the head.. I'd like to add, to what was already written above: for those who will be leaving, to seek counseling w/ one familiar with those who have left cults.(i.e. A Professional Counselor).. When I first left, I felt I was between 2 worlds; the one I left and this world. Scary at first, but then I adapted.. We all have...

I take back what I said about Less. T.a. Is the worst.. What I meant about adapting, is adapting to THIS world, NOT adapting to being between 2 worlds.

it helps if you have a friend or two who were in the cult but have left. It gives you someone who can relate to your situation. Family, even when well meaning, can't begin to grasp what you've been through and what it will take to help you adapt to a world without a tyrant directing your every move. Fortunately, I had several friends who helped me, and I'd like to think I helped them as well.

People are already getting ready to take your remaining assets anyway. You should beat them to it.

You should expect Tony to write some lying bs about you and your family and put it on his website as fact!. Especially if you have the understanding and courage to tell the truth about what goes on behind the doors of that place. Tony Alamo is so afraid of anyone who speaks any truths, exposing what life is really like inside his foundation. Know that Tony will tell all your friends and family members left inside there how big of a weasel you have become, he may even say he knew from the beginning you were a weasel. Your fiends and family members know what is being said s untrue, but no one will stand up.. They will obey Tony and cut you off, some may sneak and talk with you, but if they get caught, they too will be considered a weasel and a leak.

I believe this is correct. Keep in mind ta will not deny what is said. Instead of denying what is said he will always attack.
