There's more to this story than meets the eye. It was her payroll check that Mayor Yvonne Dockery cashed. No theft in cashing your own payroll check. She was framed.

Source close to the investigation told me otherwise.... Kinda stupid, don't ya think, for a warrant to be issued if what you say is true? No judge would issue the warrant if that were the case.

Apparently the payroll she had was allegedly issued by her, to her, without the legal approval required by law. It would be like you going into your boss's drawer and pulling out the company checkbook and writing yourself a paycheck. It's not legal! So maybe it's not a conspiracy to frame her afterall...

I think that people have a lot of hate toward this woman for personal reasons. Get a grip people!!!! Its ok though because her kids will be successful especially her basketball star. she is going to the top... After a while she wont have to work at all then they really gone hate her....

I was told by someone close to the investigation there was also an issue of a fire department check as well city credit cards being used to pay for trips to shreveport etc... The Alamo thing popped up about the time all this was coming together. I bet after that trial is over Ms Dockery will be in the news alot...

I am a childhood friend of Yvonne and I know the people personally that she had to deal with and it is all just a set up. Those people are outrageous.

Amazing, this woman is so Guilty! If the information in the paper is true you would have to be an idiot not to believe she's guilty. Maybe it's just another OJ situation.

Just curious, did she steal the checks or were they given to her after they were stolen? I suppose in that part of the country, she didn't scratch the right back or she wouldn't be even charged with a crime at all...Been studying those courts for 3 years...So far they conclude corruption. If I owned land there I would move and never look back, that is unless you are part of the corrupt, scandalous nature of the so called judicial, political community...
