I don't know if Ohio can get Federal funds. Their state motto is: With God, all things are possible.

These funds were to be used for "immediate relief" Whoever is responsible for the legislation holding back this relief money should be fired. Is this a political bid to discredit the Presidents plan to recovery? If so,voters should watch closely to see how their representatives voted. Those who voted on legislation that delays the immediate use of this money, must be voted out of office.Democrat or Republican.

"Immediate Relief"? Is that why all most 2/3rds of the money comes in to play about the time CEObama is running for re-election?

37 million dollars is a lot of moneyto be taken away from the recovery effort and given to engineers to "study" future projects. That money was to be used to put Ohioans back to work, not for studys or surveys.ODOT is misusing 37 million that could put a lot of Ohioans back to work as intended. As usual, too many surveys and studys conducted by favored companys, have taken away the food from working familys tables.

A great program for illegal immegrants....we were losing them because of no construction work.
We need them!!!....Admit it!!..I changed my mind!!
get Dirty,sweaty???..ya gotta be demented!!..the money is too good doing nothing!!

Here in Fla, you do not see anyone BUT,Mexican/Latino, labor. All the street jobs are dominated by them.costruction,.not only do they work for lower wages, but mainly,to send the money back to Mexico!..that money does not stimulate nothing here. Any how, who ,today, will go out with a pick and shovel in hot humid weather???.....Leave TOPIX??? The doorknobs on here working??...Ditto for any job, thats beneath elitists attitudes.Restaurant workers, and all manual labor work!.....then I guess we all want the Mexicans out,I did too, until the prospect of becoming a Orange picker, pig shit shoveler, street cleaning, roofer, lawns, sewer cleaning, and other manual labor.

FDR,in the great depression created real hard work jobs, timber, roads, dams, and all tough work.Back breaking!.No problem then,it was work, and ya had to eat..And they worked and ate!!

This GEEK generation cannot do it,most others would melt out there, out of shape and overweight......can't blame the employers..Ditto for all crop picking .....you make more on the unemployment line, and other social programs than to make busting your butt for an honest pay check laughable by most...And ya stay COOL!!...If it ain't got AIR,it won't go no where, except to those who probably have a better work ethic than most deadbeats!!..who will get checks for not working!!

I guess its not so bad now..for if you were hungry You Would Appreciate a job,any Job....Lets hope we do not go there.!!

Ohio has been devastated by the absence of the automobile industry. We are hard working ex-middleclass people. We are not too proud to do any job,no matter how unpleasant it may be.Most of us are working minimum wage jobs, usually 2 or 3 to make ends meet and keep our homes. We received a double hit as the automoble industry went to Mexico the economy collapsed. We were in trouble first. You greedy bastards at the top will see us rebound fisrt, and you will never ever see Republicans controlling our government again.
