From my experience the maintenance crew is top notch. Everytime I've reported a problem such as with a blocked sewer line they've responded promptly. As for the police department, that's tax money down the toilet.

Well if you think they are wasted money then allow the county and State police to take over patrol in this town and see how well you like it when you start counting up the the B-S seat belt violations, stop sign and no turn signal tickets and see if you stil think the same.

I don't remember anyone asking a guestion about the police department! You were mouthing the mainance department about a salt pile complaint in another post. Who do you think put the salt pile where it is? The Maintance Department did !!! Like I said before get a life . If all you can do about Augusta is complain then I suggest you move somewhere else.Do you work and pay any taxs ?

I thought not wearing your seatbelt and running stop signs were against the law?

Well the first words here was your first mistake"I thought" but anyway yes they are violations but there are many other far greater violation being committed out there to be worried about sitting around waiting on a person to come by at 5 MPH not wearing a seat belt or give a person a ticket for rolling through a stop sign at a snails pace at 3 in the morning without another soul even out on the streets.I think State police still go by the quota deal.

The city maintenance crew was directed to put the salt pile there by the former mayor thus they really had no choice in the matter as they were following orders. The police department is quite worthless and you know it. We have problems with people (kids and others) riding quadrunners on sidewalks in direct violation of city ordinance but the cops refuse to enforce the damn law. Hell, I see the cruiser in Maysville more often than in town so I consider it a waste of my tax dollars and yes I pay taxes and have SIX tax bills sitting in my "to be paid" box by the end of this month so I can get that tiny 2% discount...sorry to pee in your whiskey!

Clearly, SiD you come to this forum with little or nothing of value to offer and to attempt a civil, intelligent discussion with you would be a disappointing waste of my time. You say I need to get a life but when I consider what you've done with your own and the anger/hate that's consumed you I can only feel pity that you've obviously done so little with your own life.

RZM...If all you have to worry about is quadrunners then you do need to get a life. You call that crime? Your pack of barking dogs doesn't make some people happy either.

State Police in Kentucky does not have a quota to make but the Ohio Troopers do

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Libra

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
