Raise the vehicle registration fee $25.00 to $50.00 for EVERY VECICLE before you start firinig teachers!!! I'll pay more taxes to help keep our teachers.

I agree that the state should look into other means of rasing money like tobaco, beer and alcohol taxes as well as rasing the vehicle registration fees. We owe our teachers more respect than that.

As much as I hate tax increases and hikes, it is criminal to not support our school systems..Not saying they are perfect either but these institutions form the baseline in any community that wants to grow/prosper and survive. We have a lot of other areas in state and local entitlements that can be attacked before cutting teachers and class sizes...Gee, didnt Arnold promise he would help education?>.....alas....a short memory
