San Mateo may see trash rates jump again

San Mateo trash pickup rates jumped by more than 23 percent in April, but residents are facing an additional nearly 10 percent hike -- due in part to their tossing less garbage and recycling more.

Forget another raise in rates. They are doing less physical work and we are doing more. I haven't seen any increase in the quality of service yet- to warrant an increase

Of course the trash rates will go up again, the unions will bleed us dry until we speak up. Thanks for brining this up, more people need to talk about this. By the way, not only do they not have to do physical work anymore, but some of these guys are rude. Give me more money and they will keep flipping us off!
