Who gives a "f" about San Francisco? Honestly.

I would think we are sticking our heads in the sand if we ignore viable alternatives to coastal flooding in the future. This will not just affect San Francisco but will have a worldwide presence in the future. New York, Florida cities and coastal cities around the world are already looking at ideas they will need in the future. Dollars spent on prevention will pale in comparison to the potential commerical dollars lost if areas that could be protected are allowed to be submerged.
