How about posting pictures of the gangsters caught with guns after robbing someone downtown Santa Cruz. Good work SCPD thanks again for catching these violent criminals.

Great omission on the behalf of the Sentinel reporter! What was the ethnic description of the assailant? Caucasian, African, Hispanic, Asian, Polynesian, Native American? Didn't any of your reporters ever go to basic journalism school or have the common sense to inquire what basic information could assist the police and public in helping to apprehend the assailant!?

I wonder how many thousands of dollars that little venture cost? No wonder the state is going broke. Hysteria, panic, and over-regulation now seem to be the norm. So sad...

It should read "a couple of vehicle crashes", not "a couple vehicle crashes".

In the Orwellian New World the paper is trying not to inflame the citizenry with those details.

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure the police wouldn't use the media to find clues to crimes. They have people who do that for them, they're called INVESTIGATORS. And as for the public, you should keep your nose out of it and let the police do their job. All they need is for some numbskull blundering in and getting himself killed. You wouldn't do that would you?

Yeah, because I'm sure you would go screaming "DEPORT ALL THE WHITES! DEPORT ALL THE WHITES!", were these perps of Eurasian descent, right? Or maybe you'd me more likely to circle back and rag on Mexcians.

As a citizen it would be nice to know. Especially if you're walking around and you see this person....you can avoid them if possible and call the cops. The police rely heavily on the community to help the INVESTIGATORS solve crimes. This was just bad reporting on the Sentinels part.

"Around the same time on Glen Haven Road at Lagunita Drive, a motorist hit a deer.
There were no injuries reported in that incident."
Really? Then how is the deer?
