I'm so glad somebody new bought Two Street Music!!! It was a SUPER GREAT store when Russ owned it, but then he sold it to the Maxons Music people and it really... REALLY Took a dive. What was once a SUPER GREAT store turned into a dreaded chore when I wanted to even get simple things like a set of strings. ugggggggg. SO....
I am very happy that the Maxon family doesn't own the store anymore. Now I can shop locally for music equipment! AGAIN!
Yay.
ps: remember how awful Maxon's Music was? And the "gig room"? what a JOKE. We called it the GAG room. haha

I have shopped at Wildwood, 2 Street, and the Fortuna Music Mart. I live in Arcata, yet I truly find Fortuna Music Mart to be the best of all of the stores around here. They have always been friendly, provided me with any products I needed for a low price, repaired my instruments - again at a low price - and even provided information on how to clean and repair my own instrument at any time. Fortuna Music Mart, also, has opened a new store in Eureka, next to Eureka Natural Foods and Adel's. It's great! And they are open seven days a week. Two Street is not a horrible store, but I must say that Fortuna Music Mart has always been there for me, no matter my musical needs!

Well, Kent, as I am not Jay Byker, I do not own the store. Furthermore, no, I do not work there, either. If I worked there, I am sure that I wouldn't be shopping at other stores before settling on Fortuna Music Mart. I am simply advocating that it is indeed a good music store that has been a cornerstone to the musical community in Humboldt County for decades - since it was Souza's Music.

By the way - I love the pseudonym, Kent!

I'd like to congratulate Anthony Mantova for securing honest employment.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Leo

Although the emphasis on laughter and leisure will continue during the rest of the month, today you'll also have to pay attention to your working life. You might have to put in some extra hours in order to meet a deadline, or you could soon be given new responsibilities. If you're fed up with your current job, start considering your options.
