Campbell Co. inmate deaths studied

NEWPORT, Ky. -- The unrelated deaths of three Campbell County jail inmates over a three-week period are under investigation by the county coroner and the state medical examiner's office, authorities said.

unrelated deaths??? it sounds to me like they are related if the unqualified nurses/doctors are not doing their jobs! stop making up excuses and lies for their actions

I would say that the jailers are the ones that would be front and center if an inmate was ill? They would have to report that to the staff nurse in a prompt timely manner and then the nurse or doctor would need to make an assessment in a prompt and timely manner?? All parties have responsibilities to their duties and the inmates as well. Unfortunately that population of human beings do not get taken seriously when they say they are ill, most likely due to the fact that so many other prisoners have taken advantage of medical facilities just to be removed from their cells.

Hey .. you are an idiot! There are lawsuits being filed for a reason. Too many people have died because they were not given medical help!

You're both idiots. None of us was there and even if we were, we are not medical professionals so we don't know if the proper medical help was given or not.
Just because you receive help doesn't mean you're going to live. If that were the case people wouldn't die in hospitals.
Lawsuits almost automatically follow any death while in custody so investigations will take place.
Let the courts handle it.
