Churches really dont seem to defend the institution of mariage any more. Most churches offer "divorce -care" classes and go though the motions of providing counseling.. but it just seem like there is no longer condemnation about those who seek to break their vows. Perhaps since most church are now preaching a humanistic gospel based on the human conditional rather than Gods laws...a 50% divorce rate simply means no one really cares about families and marriage.

The US & State Constitutions protect INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS. Families are not legally protected by Law. Only the INDIVIDUALS within the family have rights and enjoy protection under the law. Divorce reform may be trying to establish family protections but it has simply not caught on.:(
