The sad part: Now actual rape victims will be looked at as slutty liars that have to prove themselves honest and not the REAL VICTIMS. This woman did a huge injustice to many and others will have to suffer in the future for it.

I like this, we are only a few killings away from following the bible. Adultery is the death sentence. I support this court system.

1 Just a reminder: In our legal system, the person being accused is innocent until proven guilty. Many of these "real victims" you speak of have been proven to be slutty liars, but not until they've ruined some guys life. |

Another splendid example of, "Well behaved women seldom make history". If she lived in Santa Cruz the feminuts would claim she was the "victim"

While I agree that if it is PROVEN that a woman cried wolf she should be charged with a comparable crime, this has the potential of becoming a bad proposal. When we take away the shield from women that protects them from raping men, it opens a lot of doors for men and their high-dollar lawyers to make legitimate rape cases go away. Just a thought.... |

She should have just fessed up what she was doing? Now a man's life is gone, and another man has to live with the consequences? This by far has to be bad all around.

"Justice is not served by the blood or suffering of the truely innocent but by the punishment of those who are truely guilty". |
|
The same here. The feminazis would demand that both the husband and the lover, though he is dead, be punished in the harshest manner possible. |

That is probably the BEST idea I have read on Topix EVER!!! I wonder what it would take to get something like that set up?? |

1 A shield that protects women from being raped? Here's a hint pal; there is no shield...women continue to be raped. However, the anonymity law has created many a false accusation and destroyed men's lives. Can you say "Duke LaCrosse team"? But in a society that values women more than men, what do you expect? |
|
|
now ya'll was suppose ta be married and u wanna cry rape!!!!
u r to much and wat waz u thinking sweety wat da hell made u wanna get ya husband killed see now u really need some time to think about wat u did !!!!! damn shame |
|
I happen to agree with you 100%. Way too many guys are getting a bum rap, when it is really the woman who "didn't get what she wanted"! Keep it up. |
|
Duh, I wasn't talking about a REAL shield ya artard.... If there was such a thing, don't you think they would be handing them out a dime a dozen in the maternity ward???? I was referring to the legal shield of anonymity!!! As a woman (and former victim) I have a hard time believing that society values women more than men!! I do believe society as a whole is trying to equalize the centuries of injustices bestowed upon females, albeit in faulty ways most of the time. The entire Duke LaCrosse team situation is a PERFECT example as to why some type of registry should be required for wolf-cryers. I simply stated the obvious, that there WILL be men out there who turn the tables and their high-dollar lawyers will eliminate legitimate rape cases. As with SOOOOO many "good-intentioned" programs, this concept has the potential of being manipulated and abused. |

1 Should make divorce pretty easy for him. Leave the rape laws the way they are, they are not perfect, but they are the best the legal system has to offer until casteration becomes one of the punishments for committing rape. As well while there are females out there who would falsely accuse someone in the end it all comes out and there are too many rapes to risk them not being prosecuted. |

The entire affair sounds fishy to me. How do we even know that the guys weren't getting it on and the wife crashed the party? Then, when she was rejected by the one guy, cried rape to get the other guy to step in, whereupon, he say a way to take careof the situation and get out clean? I don't think all the facts are here.

I really hope that you don't actually ever move to Cruces. You have got to be one of the dumbest people on the entire Topix website. You have made some of the most asinine and incomprehensible statements I have ever read/heard, and that is saying alot!! This town already has all the stupid people we can hold with our local Weiny Heiny Weinbaum and his never-ending "poor ME!" song. By the way it sounds, your probably his cousin or something!!! Stay in California with the rest of the idiots and leave our town alone. |

See, here's the problem. There have been a lot of men exonerated. However, most of the people who have been exonerated were in cases where the women were raped, it just ended up not being the man convicted. In almost all of those cases, the men were exonerated because they were innocent of the rape, not because the rape didn't occur. It's only because of DNA testing that this is being discovered. It's a ludicrous statement to make because the wrong person was convicted (exonerated) that the crime didn't occur. Last I checked, people were exonerated from death row crimes but that doesn't make the victim of the original murder any less dead from being murdered. At this point, I'm wondering if you meant to use the wording of men being falsely accused and instead misused the word exonerated in your second sentence. Back to the original topic though, anyone who falsely reports a crime should be punished. |
