The guy who keeps saying his family member is innocent has been charged with the murder and is in the county jail waiting for trial. He apparently confessed to doing it. It occurred out in the middle of nowhere in the oil patch.

This relative is saying that someone else is involved in the killing. But if you listen close to what he is saying, he doesn't say that Toby wasn't involved, he just says that others were involved. To me, that sounds like Toby is guilty, and if there is someone else involved, Toby is probably the only one that can tell them. Regardless, Toby deserves life in prison.

So all this guy wants to do is whine and complain when it is really his relatives fault!

well vernon is a small town but its not any different than any other town.its not like they are just ignoring the case .its has not went to trial.ooooooh when it does ,i bet we all want to know the details.the authorities are not gonna tell us what they are doing so til the trail comes .we are anxious to hear the real murderer is locked up.

as far as it been solely tobys doing its not... i am not saying toby WASNT there i am simply saying he is not the only one involved and should not get life in prison for something that he did not do.. he didnt kill the woman.. he is taking the blame to protect his family from the real killer or killers... so when someone puts a knife in your hand your prints will end up on the knife.. like i have said there is a killer among the vernon residents... so nobody should put there guard down just because you want to believe that toby did this and he was alone.. the people involved was involved in drugs.. EVERYONE that was at that location was involved in a drug deal.. a drug deal that went horribly wrong.. so why is everyone looking down on toby they need to look for others that was involved.. there is not a mysterious man that picked him up and drove him to town.. its ridiculous to think there was.. so instead looking the other way why dont the law enforcement officers look at the major dealers that they know are in there town.. unless they have been paid to look the other way.. if everyone wasnt dead set on convicting toby they would look outside the box and know that it doesnt all make sense...

You don't seem to get what other people are saying. You say authorities should look for other people. How? If there were other people out there in the middle of nowhere, how can they figure out who it was? Toby was there and the woman was there. Toby is alive, the woman is dead. Who can tell authorities who else was out there? Do you think there are satelite photots that show who else was out there? Or do you think that maybe Toby is the only person that can say? Why can't you get that through your head?

Also, it doesn't matter if Toby wasn't the one that actually did the killing. If he was there, and he witnessed it, and he helped everyone get out of the way, then he was an accomplice. That means he is JUST as guilty as everyone else. And YES, most people think you should GET LIFE IN PRISON for that.

Toby was the one that did the actual killing, there is no doubt about that. There may have been others involved. The Texas rangers have done their job. They spent many hours on this case and they did an excellent job. The trial will start in December. There is alot more to this case than is being let out to the public but for certain reasons the public is left out in the cold for now..... Until the trail begins.

Wow. I heard the guy pleaded guilty today for 45 years in prison. Don't know if it's true or not, because I wasn't there, but someone told me he got 45 years.

Yes you are right Don he got 45 years in prison. I was there when he pleaded guilty. He knew that Tuesday was going to be the date for his trial. I guess he didn't want to go thru all of that.

Don I wish they would of gave him life in prison or at least 99 years. But I will accept the 45 years they gave him. But nothing can bring back my friend Rosemary. I miss her everyday and all I have is my memories and the good times I had with her. It will take me along time to get over all of this. But one this is for sure, when his 45 years are up I will be writing the parole board and telling why NOT TO RELEASE him at all.

Ok, I understand that you don't believe that Toby did this, but you have not known Toby in a long time. Toby changed alot in the months leading up to this. He was on drugs and involved with alot of bad people. I am not blaming anyone else for what he did, and YES HE DID DO IT. I am the bitch that you are referring to and let me tell you, I have not been married to Toby for a very long time. I am remarried and have been for 4 years to a very good man. Toby did tell me that someone else was involved and that he can't tell the police because they were going to hurt my children, but I went to the DA and talked to them about it. They told me the details of the case and I knew that Toby was lying. Toby has told me so many lies that I can't believe anything that he says. I really don't care what you think of me, but just remember one thing. I am the one responsible for protecting my children and taking care of them. I am the one responsible for their emotional well being. I am the one who has to dry their tears and take them to counselours because of what he has done, so don't you for one second think that I really give a shit what he needs me to do. He has ruined my childrens and another families lives also. We have a good life in Vernon and my children love it here. They are the most important thing to me. He put himself in this situation and he needs to pay for what he did. Even if someone else was there or if someone helped, which I seriously doubt, He deserves to pay for what he has done.

Ok im the sister of "the bitch that married him" And for you to say that about her shows exactly how ignorant you are. I wasn't aware that people were still responsible for a person after they divorced them. Toby made his own mistakes while my sister was raising 3 beautiful little ladies with very little help from him. He ruined her life just like he ruined so many others. I have seen her cry her eyes out alot of times because her babies want their dad. But I guess you wouldn't really have any idea of how hard that is. My sister is a very classy lady with her priorities exactly where they should be, on her children.

i would just like to say that toby was a part of our family for a long time .we loved him like he was our son. he did not have a family like most people.they really did not have any thing to do with him.so they want to call names and stuff but what did they really know about toby. they were never there.so they really dont know any thing . toby is going to pay for what he did,but he is not the only one . every one involed is paying for it .the ladies family deals with it every day,and so do we.so when you smart people deal with it like we all do then say what you want about the women he married.then it takes a bitch to know a bitch. if you cared at all you would have talked to him to find out the real story instead of making a judgement on someone that stode by him even thogh she did not have to. they are divorced have been for four years . to me that shows real class.not sorryness
