Looks like the new owners are off to a good start. My family and I had lunch there this past Sunday,we didn't have to wait very long ( which is good for a Sunday),I would imagine this will change when word gets out. We don't mind a little wait if it is worth waiting for, and it was. Food was great, Service was great. BIG CHANGE from previous owners(Flyod's). Keep up the good work!

Had breakfast this a.m. at Fleetwood Diner. I tried their florintine eggs benedict. I was able to substitute a real english muffin for the texas toast that the menu said was the standard for this diner. There was no indication of a lemon ever having been near the hollandaise sauce. The eggs were perfectly cooked, but what destroyed what might have been a good entree was the presence of two slices of school-bus-yellow American cheese under the eggs. This 'cheese' should be ashamed to call itself cheese, and no one out of elementary school should ever be subjected to it. It did not add flavor to this dish; only calories and cholesterol. The hash browns that came with the meal were slightly grey and inedible due to the amount of grease in them. The service was very good, and there was a plethora of seating, which you certainly couldn't find on a weekend when this diner was under it's previous incarnation of Floyds.
I miss Floyd's light and innovative touch, and certainly hope that the new regime learns that Floyds regulars would appreciate a re-thinking of the menu here. In the meantime, the Great Outdoors down the street is now producing an excellent breakfast, even if it is a bit more expensive.

My wife had the eggs flourinetine accompanied by the homemaid hashbrowns on the texas toast like it says on the menu it was great grub filling and priced right the couple we ate with loved floyd's before but love Fleetwood better because it doesn't try to act like a fine ding place in a DINER and rip people off.Try the meaty hippie breakfast it a grilled vegetable medely on top off their homemade corned beef hash.Try the homemaide spinage pie that the owner's mother makes try the saganaki cheese which is imported from greece.

It's not as good as Floyd's that's for sure.

I've been several times now and have gotten mixed results. If you know what to order, you can get a decent meal. Some stuff is just plain bad though.

The eggs benedict is not good at all. The Hollondaise sauce was more like gravy, Texas toast was plain and the American cheese not so good. Eggs were pretty good. The Hippy Hash is good. Meatloaf is good. Didn't care much for the pancakes (dry and flat). Liked a Reuben I got.

I'll continue to go, as it's the best place close to home and I think the Great Outdoors is over priced and has it's own issues. If Fleetwood improves some of the weaker dishes, it could become as good as Floyds was.

Not sure why some didn't like Floyds. I always had good meals at Floyds.
