Am I reading this correctly? Was this four year old child out on the streets at 11:00 PM? If, in fact, this is true, then where in the world were his parents/caregiver(s)?

Something isn't right here..........

Exactly - that is what I was thinking as well. 11pm! And people wonder why kids get killed by stray bullets on drive by shooting late at night. Get your kids inside and to bed at a decent hour. Parents should be punished for these things!
Anyway, would be nice when these alerts come out to have a posting of a picture or something!

I agree this child should not have been out on the streets at 11pm. My kids are in bed at 9pm every night. Sometimes i wonder about how these children get abducted, I hope they find this little boy and he is not harmed. God Bless

I was thinking the same thing. WHO lets their 4 yr old out in the street at 11pm at night ... other than irresponible parents, who are probably young teenagers/borderline in their 20's who don't know any different. People make no sense!

The mother returned home late last night with her four children, when two men grabbed her, tied her up inside, and took Jose. Ransom has been requested. This story is abbreviated.

I saw the link to WUSA's story. This paper really needs to beef up it's reporting. Please provide all the facts. I too pre-judged the parent based on the child being out at 11pm as reported by the Sun. You're the Sun, shed some light, don't keep us in the dark by withholding facts.

WOW the Sun really blew it this Time. there story is os misleading. This paper is so wrong on a number of stories you always have to go to a outside source to get the information.

Some of you need to slow down, get you're facts straight before you rush to judgement. Do some research before you pull the verbal trigger.

Thank goodness the child was found, albeit more than likely frightened, tired, hungry and confused.

Hope the authorities find out exactly why this type of crime was committed and end up punishing ALL involved in whatever it was the precipitated the entire event.

"Some of You" pulled the trigger quick rapidly also. When something as horrendous as this happens, you must think quickly and you can only respond to the facts that are placed before you. If all involved in rescuing the child were to slow down, then there may not have been a rescue. I do not believe anyone was being overly emotional nor judgemental. The bottom line is the child was abducted and there had to be an awfully big reason for such an abduction to take place at such a late hour.

Feel free to slow down if you like, but I hope our authorities never take that advice. I pray they move so rapidly that you can only feel the breeze as they whiz by when they are confronted with the safety of a child (or for that matter, for the safety of anyone).

Some of You... you're right get the facts straight. No facts in the Sun Article except time of day and child abducted. So based on the uncomplete story in the Sun the reactions of the posters to this thread were valid.

Do any of you remember the TV at 10 p.m. every night? "It's 10 O'clock, do you know where your children are?"

Baltimore Sun - tch, tch, tch. shame on you.
