Both Byron and Fort Valley are poised for growth in the next couple of years and signs are already showing. Byron is a booming suburb unlike Warner Robins, laidback! Fort Valley is gearing up for a mayoral election in November. Stumbo must go in order to see more growth, the type of growth we should have seen years ago before Byron finally caught up to Fort Valley which they are well on their way to. Stumbo seems to be doing his part now that a new mayoral candidate is giving him a run for his money. Byron is set to have a Wal-Mart soon and that would be perfect! Watch Peach County grow in the next few years...
Now we just need to get the education and graduation rates up. Our school system should be the first in this area to offer a bilingual program, enhancing the learning capabilities as well as abilities of all students. Thus, preparing them to be part of the diverse world in which we lived today.
