OK, so is anything being done about this situation? Need to know, this is my community, too, and those are public monies, are they being used as intended?

Maybe you should learn how to spell the person you are talking about name correct first. Tou have no room to talk because either you or your wife or maybe your mother, have been BANNED in all S.E.Ok. and some in TX for stealing meat for store's. Take alook in your own backyard first before you talk. Sorry.

Well aren't you the smart one, telling someone how to spell. What's a Tou?

I hear it's opening again. The lady that didn't have help or needed a break or whatever, mysteriously quit! The age limit changed and other stuff has been fixed. Good for them, I hope it is even better than it was.

Just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who came and enjoyed a fantastic meal with us today! It will just get better and better! There are more individuals who are offering their help and want to become more involved, which is always appreciated.
The Center is looking forward to having community time, i.e., playing card games, dominoes, etc., and just having a good old time socializing. Will keep everyone posted as to when these events will be scheduled. Maybe sometime in the evenings, will enjoy tea and coffee, perhaps a light dessert.
As for the person or persons who think(s) we "Do not have a clue", come join us sometime. You might be surprised! Again, everyone is welcome, regardless of age, or whatever. Just please leave your disagreements outside!!!

Hey Jennifer, thanks for the game, I am sure it will be used...and you are right, we have a great time during our lunches.

Thursday - Bill's delicious Shrimp Alfredo, Green Salad, homemade Garlic Rolls, and homemade peach cobbler with fresh whip cream.

Bill and I are working on a monthly menu, hope to have that out soon.

My how time does fly?!! Another wonderful meal, Bill's Shrimp Alfredo was just wonderful...everyone really enjoyed our time together and the wonderful food today!

We will be having baked chicken with cornbread dressing and gravy, green beans seasoned with bacon, vegetable salad, dinner rolls, and a very refreshing fruit salad on Monday, August 27th. On Thursday, August 31st, we will be having meatloaf, mac and cheese, bbq beans, biscuits and butterscotch pudding for dessert. Also, if there is someone in our community who is in need of a good, nutritious meal, who is unable to pay, please let us know. That is why we are here, to feed those in need.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, or whatever, and because of the great community participation, we are able to keep these meals at $3.00 apiece, includes drink and dessert.

Hope to see everyone who wants to enjoy their friends and have a good meal, even those who "disagree and want to "SPAM" us", whatever that means. I don't think there are to many who would agree we are junk!!

I give thanks to our Lord and Saviour, and ask that he continues to bestow these blessings upon us and our community. God Bless.

Thank you to all who participate and especially my partner and friend, Bill. I would also like to thank Mike who always pitches in on anything and everything that needs to be done. John is another who never hesitates to help whether it is washing dishes, or fixing the air conditioner. Bill, thank you for all the hours you put in to keep our building clean and ready for the next meal.

But especially, thank you to the all the people who continue to participate in our program. It is because of all of you that we are able to do what we enjoy doing. We served 54 meals on Thursday, that is phenomenal. Now, Bill and I just need to increase our meals so nobody is turned away.

But most importantly, I must give thanks to our Lord and Saviour, without him we would not be so blessed.

See you Monday, Spaghetti and Meatballs, salad, Foccacia bread, and homemade banana pudding. Have a great weekend!
