It has been my experience that the owner is too talkative. I go in with my husband occasionally and it always seems like we cant get a word in to each other due to him standing t our table. While I do enjoy a friendly owner I do sometimes wish he would just exchange a quick greeting and move on.

I would like the owner to exchange a quick greeting and move on. I am glad he is friendly but I would like to enjoy a meal with my family and be able to chat with my husband. 3

They hired a new cook who cooks at night sometimes. He sometimes comes out and eats with people, he is very friendly and people seem to like him. I hear people call him Leland or the Mayor because he is the town Mayor. I know he cooks there on Friday night because I have ate there and the food seems better to me when he is cooking. I agree with you on the chatty owner, he needs to tone it down and be respectful of his customers. Familys and couples go out to be together and talk and sometimes don't want to be bothered. Maybe the owners of Hillbilly Holler will listen. You get to much family in a business and sometimes the family drama spills over iinto the business and leaves the customers with a bad taste in their mouth.

Yeah the food tasted like rubber and then all the talking. that one old cook women had a beer belly. and you could hear that mouth yack yack all the time. I did like the hairy guy who dropped beard particles in your food. he was kinda quite and dumb I thought. tho I am kinda dumb for eating there...
Maybe they will open again and hire a bunch of chimps to work in the kitchen...

they closed basically because the restaurant was loosing more money than it was making. just wasnt working out and the owner was always stressed about it and just got sick and tired of being sick and tired. plus they had some legal complications with the people they were leasing the building from.
